No. When you run, you're responsible for your OWN ****. You don't drag your homies into it, and they didn't drag you into it. It's your own responsibility if you f*ck up.
Another thing, for those of you that say to run in the day, that's actually worse than running at night. If you know anything about running, its safer to run at nite. First off, at night, you can see the lights of an oncoming car reflect off of the signs/reflectors. 2) WAY less traffic at night. 3) My experience has proven to me that cops frequent these places in daylight, and it's way easier to get caught/seen.
I hope you get your car fixed.. i noticed you said you landed upside down? Where's the roof damage if any??? You guys shouldnt follow too close, especially if you don't have ABS. I recently was riding shotgun in my friend's car and we were trailing a Toyota AE86 closely when he was going too fast for this one turn, locked up the brakes, and plowed right into the guard rail and basically tore the front end off. We almost hit him cause we were so close, and the car in back almost hit us.
good stuff to follow when running..
1) communications - keep 2-way radios in the car (in case someone flies off, etc or to warn of any dangers)
2) slow people in the back - lots of stuff can happen when slow people are in front and are pushed by faster people in back.
3) don't push yourself to the limit, especially if you dont know them

Eh, someone will be at fault. It is human natur to hope the blame isn't on you. I'd hope the same if I were in his shoes.
As far as when t run, I prefer running during the day, but both day and night runs have thair good and bad points.....of couse I wouldn't have to worry about oncoming traffic if I am keeping my car in the correct lane. As far as cops, yeah there are more cops during the day but hey if I'm gunna do a run I'll take the ticket as a consequence.
I wont run at night too much because the road gets to cold. I nearly went off the windy hill going into the canyon, I can take it pretty quick, but one cold night I turned the wheel and my car kept going straight. Sure was a sphincter clenching moment but the car caught traction and turned at the last second.
Then again I lik eknowing when a car is coming, but also unless the brights are on I cant see far enough ahead to account for animals.

There is ur mistake right there. I never canyon run beyond 6/10th. I rather total my car at the track. It doesn't look at stupid as when you mess up ur ride on public street.
i got my wake up call last year too. spun on the street and almost totalling my car. the question is, "what did you learn and are you going to get back on the saddle?"
