Had it out for it's shakedown run last weekend. 1st time it ever went under it's own power it turned a 131 mph pass and tripped the lights at 10,000 rpm in 3rd. I can't wait to stand on it!



Bonneville is in 3 weeks so i'm thrashing to get the nitrous in and the car to paint & graphics, then to the dyno for a couple of days before I go. Shooting for 160mph or so on the bottle.

The head is very good. No problems with it at all. Head/valves/springs/retainers are in very good shape. I would not hesitate to put back on a car as is.

No smoke at all so the guides are good.

Yes, leave next Thursday. Going to run in H/FALT (under 1.5L, with nitrous). The current record is 133 ish. IF I don't hurt the motor I will shoot for 155-160mph.

Since the photo posted above, I got the car painted. It's now "Laguna Seca Blue" which is a BMW color for the M3's and Z3's. It goes for sponsor graphics next week.
