Worst Weekend ever!!!!!

ok here goes...i was traveling northbound on Clark Ave. in Lakewood after a night out with my friends then around 2AM July 16th, 2004 a guy in a old possibly achevorlet hit me on my passenger side injuring my friend (Sandy) in the back passenger side...she now has 4 fractures in her pelvis bone and was in the hospital for a total of 2 days...i'm ok if you guys want to know...

i was making a left turn when the light changed from yellow to red at the intersection when the guy sped up and ram perpedicular into my car...he then traveled approximately 200-300 ft before stopping and pulling over into a parking lot...by that time frame i already called 911 and told the operation it was an hit and run situation but as i saw the vehicle pull over to the parking lot i immeidiately said nevermind he pulled over...cops arrived in around 10 seconds...the the guy came up to me and said "what happened dogg", i replied "you hit me", then on the cell phone he said to whoever on the other line saying "i just got in an accident mannnnnnnnn!!!!", i was thinking to myself like the f*ck? you're calling someone instead of the cops after you knock the f*ck outta my car?...officers arrive asking me what happened and i explain that he has hit me while i was turning from a yellow to red light...but since the officer misunderstood my answer he quickly said it was supposely my fault and kept it at that...i meant to say it was yellow and when it turned red thats when i made the left turn...i was too worried for my friend's safety i couldn't even think straight...so i left it at that and pushed my car to the side and went with my friend to the hospital...there was a total of 4 people in my vehicle but only 1 was injured because the other vehicle hit directly into her seating position...

so here are some pics of my damage...if i can salvage it i would but thats not my choice...thank you all for listening...

-Farley

This sux man. Hope your friend feels better. I hate it when the cops see a supped up car, the automatically assume that you were racing and it must have been your fault.

Fjck yeah James!!!! Thats what Im talking about!!! Yeah Farley, if they try to pin this on you, all you have to do is tell them to look at the point on impact. If you had run the light, then you would have hit him, thus causing damage to the front side of his car and the front of your car. Its the rear of yours, and sounds like the front of his.

I just got done with a side/front type of accident with my moms 528i that the guy and his dad were trying to pin on my mom. Even the insurance company said it sounded like they were at fault but had to side with them. One little call to his boss with the recorded conversation and their inspection of the car and they were paying for everything. Stupid idiots man!!!

They wont salvage it for that, not enough damage. BUT, what you have to do know is get the insurance set up and then talk to James about what color car you want!!

thanks guy...i feel so thankful that you guys are on my side...my friend seems ok but she can't move around at all without the assistant of the wheelchair...

kazell - thanks for the heads up...i'll contact you if i need a body shop...i'm not even sure if 21st century would let me pick my own body shop to fix the damage, but i'll definately keep that in mind

chase - yea even the cops said i was at fault when they didn't even look at any evidence...i told them look at the damage...i was almost done with the turn then he hit me perpendicularly then he rolled down the block before he even thought of stopping...but f*cken cops were in his favor and i don't know why...cops were yelling at her when she was hurt...they're all like "are you on drugs? are you high? are you intoxicated?" man she was injured the f*ck you want her to do...this sucks...but on the brighter note everyone is in fair condition

insurance company cant tell you what shop to go to ..thats eligal...you have the right to pick any shop you want...dont let them tell you different cuz they will try and send you there shop wich they get the wrk done for cheaper since they use them all the time...just tell them you have your own body shop that you would prefer useing and and ill take care if it from there with a phone call...thell even get you set up with a renta car....just PM me when your ready, and Ill give you the info..hope your friend is ok as well...she's going to be banking it pretty soon if she sue's thats for sure...

since the other party was at fault, you would have them pay for the whole deal..including rental coverage....talk it over with your insurance co and let them know that even though the police statement says you were at fault the officer miss understood your statment at the time of the accedent. Pluse you were so concernd for your passengers well being that you were unware of what he took down. Tell your INC CO. you want a full investigation of the accident and make sure your hard on them cuz thats what you pay them for..and make sure nothing goes against you ...cuz next time you go for renewl youll be paying out the ***..there INC should pay for it all ! ! ! !

The other company should pay for all your expenses. Damage, bodily injury, AND rental car (up to $30/day). Don't get insurance with the rental car, check if your current insurance company covers rental cars (you will save $7-10/day).

MangoEX should not be trusted
Its not going to be as safe cause they have to cut out the B-pillar and reweld a new one in addition to door and quarter panel.. i dont think that will be cheap. Im suprised someone got hurt that bad with that kind of an impact.. was she leaning against the side of the car? Supposedly automobile manufacturers put plastic ribbing inside those panels to absorb impact lessening injuries to people upon impact.. This is why side air bags are so important. Did her head hit the Cpillar at all?? Hope everything turns out for the good

Fact is... it will never feel the same!!!!!

and a lot of body shops don't do 100% paint matching (or the clear coat might make it look dull). Good luck Farley!

hollly molly. i can tell you, your door needs to be replaced, right quarter panel, right pillar, cant see the interior, blend fender, blend trunk lid, replace a/m rocker panel, locks... from what i can see. But there may be more damage and dont quote me on this.

come to 19247 walnut dr, ca. 91748 for a free estimate.

I hope you feel better and good luck on your ins, court, and all the other crap.
