Just keep in mind that they skinned our boys in the middle of their town in front of everybody then beat them. Keep that in mind when you wonder why we do the things we do to them.

...i think we should have an expectation that our soldiers should hold themselves to a higher level, and display honor...and not revenge. Thankfully a majority of our soldiers are honorable.
Just because someone acts without honor doesn't mean that we need to as well.
The USA is supposed to represent a higher standard and those soldiers let their country down.

Okay but think about it, you are at your base, and in the same country as you are in, the local news is broadcasting your brothers and sisters in arms being skinned alive and killed on national TV, and the broadcasters are overjoyed by this, the people in the streets doing the killing are overjoyed by this.
Try and tell me that your mind-set at that point isn't to kill as many of those fu*** as you possibly can with no care. Try and tell me that your mind set isn't to get them on TV and nationally do to them what they just did to your friends. Try and tell me that you wouldn't do it, because I know that I would do that, I would make them suffer for everyone of my brothers that I had to watch die on the re-runs of the news. And I would do my best to hurt everyone that cheered it on and laughed at the soldiers when they died.

I think there are certain levels of honor that we should follow. They get pissed and say that we are abusing the POWs and they are killing ours. I think we need to send them back some of their POWs non living to show them a message. The US always gets own3d when it comes down to these kind of things becuase stupid US citizens say that its too violent to kill any iraqis that we have, yet our soldiers are getting killed and they say nothing about that.

"show a group affiliated with al-Qaida beheading an American in Iraq, saying the death was revenge for the prisoner-abuse scandal."
this is just all too sad

5 Slow wacks and then celebrating by dancing around with his head...
Right, kill them all. Take their oil to finance the war, then after we are done using them kill them.

yes, what we did to their soldiers is wrong. but keep in mind everyone, war is war, eye for an eye, limb for a limb. the geneva convention doesnt mean sh.t when have people who didnt follow it to begin with, hell, i bet half those **** suckers dont even know what that was all about.
anyways, the way i see it, we (the U.S.) are so for humn rights, that they forget that out men are dying out there, some in combat, and some being tortured, just like we are doing to them. people seem to forget how our men in vietnam where tortured. glass rods shoved in the urethra's and then broken.
f.ck iraq, they want war, they got war. they wanna f.ck with ouyt soldiers, we f.ck with theirs, its just too bad we have so many assh0les over here.
but notice how it is the left wing bush haters who exposed this issue, way to go guys.

I Hope the American Soldiers who thought is was funny ha ha to torment the prisioners feel guilt for their actions. Now an innocent American contractor who went over there to rebuild there telecommunications is dead by a horible painful death. Yeah Yeah Yeah I know eye for an eye, all that be we are supposed to be the bigger people, the one with dignity and honor. I am an active duty air man and they teach us from day one in basic training to be the bigger man. And the American Soldiers who are responsible for treating out POWs like they are animals deserves to smacked in the head by the law. They will pay for their immature behavior. I am so upset right now, I can not even find the words I want to say. War is War, I understand that, but all in all, There are rules to war, and even though they may not follow the Geneva Conventions, we should. There is no explanation to why the American Soldiers did what they did. And now the Many heartless Terroists of Iraq have taken another innocent life because they felt we were torturing their people. Eye for and Eye... Im Out.

If the geneva conventions is not followed by one group that is at war with another group, why should the other group follow them???
Here you guys can kill and torture and rape all the POW's that you want but when we capture you guys we are going to put them up in nice places and feed them and baby them???
Tell me how that makes us better people, and not just the people that everybody laughs at because we don't know how to fight back?

It makes us better people because it shows other countries that we follow by the rules. This will open doors to us from other countries who would want to help us. Now that WE(the U.S.) did what we did, other countries probably think we deserved it.
and who said we have to "put them up in nice places and baby them?" Do you think our prisons are nice places and the security baby them? At least I dont think so. Throw them in a cell and feed them. Oh wait, we forgot to put some carpeting and some matching drapes to have that nice color scheme.

What do you think the Geneva Conventions is?? It is basically telling us that we have to treat the POW's like guests, and if we hurt them and violate the Geneva Act our country can be held liable. So when another country violates this act why can they not be held accountable???
I don't see us making Iraq apologize for skinning our boys? I don't see Iraq apologizing for beheading an american?? What I do see is Bush apologizing for everything from attacking the iraqi people to the pictures that surfaced on the internet. This is not a time for apologizing, this is war time, you don't do that during war. Maybe during peace but not during war. He declared war and now he is doing this???
I honestly think that he has gotten in over his head and he knows that there is no exit strategy, once you are in Iraq, you are going to be there forever, this is one of the main reasons the Bush's father wouldn't make a long stand over there, he knew there was no exit strategy, he was the head of the CIA he knew this. His son didn't, but he is starting to understand.

j, love ya man, but i strongly disagree with you on this. TRUE, what we did was wrong in every way, however, what they did to out soldier is IN SO MANY WAYS DIFFERENT from what we did to their men (cowards). we did not skin them, now did we behead them, but after they did that to out men, i think the only message we are going to get across to them is if we do the same. i am sorry, but it is complete b.llshit that they behead someone who is over there not fighting, but helping them.
i agree with jdog, war is war, Bush should not be saying sorry for anything. the only thing i could htink of is that we havent killed them faster.
like i said, what we did is wrong, but it does not justify anything they did to our man. and for people tp blame that soley on what we did to them is weak. honestly, i think that is the left wingers that would even say we are horrible and this and that and blah blah blah
f u ck those left wing chumps who blame this sh.t on bush. just looking for a lame a.s excuse.
thats just my take on this. flame me all you want everybody. i know there is someone else out here who feels like i do
