there's 2 ways to do this... the way i did was just switch the actual bulbs... i.e. put the signal bulb in the brake housing, and put the brake bulb in the signal housing..
this requires cutting at the brake housing because the signal bulb is too big...
also u would need to secure the brake bulb cuz the signal housing is too big... what this does is your signal housing lights up when you turn on your parking lights and the horseshoe lights up ONLY when signalling...
the 2nd way requires cutting of wires and reconnecting them, but not switching the bulbs... the bulbs stay in their respective housings...
you have to cut the positive wire on the signal bulb and the wire that lights up the brake light (not sure exactly which one, cuz there are 2 positive wires, 1 that lights up the parking light and 1 that lights up when you brake because the bulb dual filament, but it has to be the one that lights up the brake)...
after you cut these 2 wires, take the brake light wire and connect it to the signal bulb and take the signal wire and connect it to the brake bulb...
the horseshoe will still be on when you turn on your parking lights, but when you brake, it will be the signal bulbs that light up (like the mercedes or jetta)
so its up to you how you want your lights to light up... i didn't want the horseshoe at night so i chose the 1st way... but if you don't want to cut at the tailight housings, then you can do the 2nd way... cuz you can always revert back to stock in the 2nd way but you can't in the 1st way cuz you already cut the housing... hope all of this makes sense

cool deal thanks for the infor bro, Ya i figured it out lastnight with a test light, all of the positive wires are colored so it made it really easy to do. So i cut them which i hated to do but o well... there like yours. what i reall wanted was the break light and the parking light to be on top and the blinker to be in the horse shoe, but wasnt up for the challenge last night with the drumal..
I have to say that i light up the street like crazy now, looking though my mirror all i see is the floor lit up red....lol. its like haveing red fog lights in the rear....

i know what you need... a trailer conversion kit.... if your kinda worryed about cutting the wires or choping out the stock housings, ive done it befor. Go to kreagon or Auto Zone and pick one up for a few bucks, It wrk the same way that the break light is wrking now, you would then just T-tap into the power and ground lines and unpluge your OEM bulbs and let the kit do all the wrk
