when bad **** happens, just when i think it can't get any worse, it does....
i was driving on the freeway about 80 or so and i realized that the car was steering off to one side pretty bad... so i got off the freeway to my girl's house and took a look at the tire... it was completely flat... so i talked to her dad and he happend to have a can of fix-a-flat... it's that stuff that you spray into the tire to patch up the holes btw...
so i spray the stuff into the tire thinking that it'll hold until i patch the tire up in the morning the next day.... the instructions on the can says to drive the car around for about 3 miles and be sure to fill the tire with air within the 3-5 miles... there happend to be a gas station about a mile and a half away from the house so i drove the car slowly down to the gas station and on the way there i heard a loud hissing noise.... air had escaped from the tire
i was almost to the gas station so i figured i'd fill the tire with air just to make sure the fix a flat somewhat sealed the tire.... when i got there, there was a tiny sign on the air/water station that said "out of order"
seeing how it was 2 in the morning, i really didn't feel like chillin' at a gas station with my girl in the boonies of corona so i inched my way up the hill back to her house and i was gonna park it there for the night...
a good reminder to those people with flat tires.... DO NOT MOVE THE CAR WHEN THE TIRE IS COMPLETELY FLAT!!! i found this out the hard way because when i got back to the house and examined the tire, the tire was shredded to peices and the aluminum lip on my wheels looked like they went through a die grinder....
that night, i was supposed to drive my girl back to OC so she could go to school the next morning and i had to get back to the IE to take a midterm for school the next morning also... luckily her parents understood the situation and they let us borrow their car...
so i dropped her off and spent the night there and drove back to the IE in the morning to drop off the car and change the flat... lucklily i still had the doughnut in the truck.... i changed out the tire and drove the car back to my parent house to put the steelies on....
imp:
i started to break the lugs loose on the spare... the first one came out without a problem and so did the second one... the 3rd and 4th however...
long story short, i snapped TWO of the FOUR wheel studs on that ONE tire!!!!
one good thing about this is the two remaining lugs on the car are on the opposite side of the lug pattern so the tire isn't wobbling when i drive it...
i looked online and i can't find wheel studs for my car anywhere... i looked on kragen, pepboys, autozone, majestic honda... nothing...
any inforomation or help fixing this would be greatly appriciated...

okay... i went to a tire shop today to get the studs fixed... they told me that they didn't fix wheel studs there... so they refered me to this other place a couple exits down... turns out that since America Tire refered me to them, they'll fix it for free because they think i got service done from them and broke my studs... lol....
more bad news for the car tho... as i was driving down to get the wheel studs done, my a/c stopped working.... it's like 110 er something in riverside and i have no a/c... f*ck this ****...
anything that can go wrong, will go wrong as they say... so now i gotta find a place that will fix my a/c....
sucks cause i'm moving into a new apt next month and i need to save money for a deposit...... oh well... it's all good... i'm usually able to pull through these hard times without much reprocusion...

I feel your pain. Thats why when I got my 17" rims I purchased a full size spare. So I can still roll tight. I hate it when it rains it pours. When the **** gets heavy I feel like punching a wall and getting plastered.
