Sighting: R33 Skyline
well, my friend and I were driving on Alicia to go get boba in Irvine when we hear two exhausts comin up fast ... ZOOM and ZOOM ... the first was an R33 Skyline, followed by a '99 M3. Unforuntately, I wasn't in my car, I was in my friend's catless '99 EX with i/e...
It was a Silver R33 Skyline with gold 18x10 SSR Type C (Competition) rims, Apex'i N1 exhaust ... interestingly enough, he ended up going to the boba place as well and we talked for about an hour ... he said he just got the car a few hours ago and waited a year for it from Motorex ... turns out, he lives 2 miles from me haha
damn that thing was sexy ... makes me think twice about keeping my Civic (but alas, I must)

his dad is pretty cool too ... he owns a turbo Lexus SC430 ... 550 rwhp
if I can, I'll try to get a video in a few weeks .. he's going back to Ohio today to finish up school ... only has 3 weeks left (flew over here to pick up the Skyline from Motorex) .. he said he'll be back around May 12th or so...
I'm sure I'd lose anyway

I have an announcement.....SKYLINES WILL BE AVAILABLE in the US in SPRING of 2007....R34 will be the twin turbo inline 6...bhp at 277 starting at $78,000.........r33 will be about $45,000...........and r32 wll be about $34,000.........they will be completely modified to the make them us street legal...but then you can just buy the japanese skyline ecu for like 6-9 g's and pop that in and you will be back up to the normal specs......

Rep Power: 317 Eh, who needs skylines when I drive past westlake blvd every day and see these four cars on commute usually. A pearl yellow lambo diablo, Black porsche GT2, Red new model Viper, and a yellow Mercilargo...
The Mercilargo I saw peel out at resadobi... I almost wet myself >.<.
ohh ya the coolest car I ever seen on the road/got a ride in....was a Ferrari F40 when i was about 15 years old.
about that source its BS however the new R35 probally dubbed skyline is coming to the U.S upon its release in 2006. This will be based off the concept desighn you guys either love so much or hate. BTU nice run in with the skyline.

I think there was a skyline, it belonged to the owner of the Infinity Arcade, but I heard he sold it. Dunno, maybe I'm wrong, but I know he owned one! =X

Rep Power: 0 Saw a blue R34 at Nijiya Market Parking lot in Santa Monica. Across the street from Hurry Curry and Volcano Tea. He was cruising down the street down shifting and back firing as he was doing that and a Lexus GS400 turbo was following him. Then saw a black R33 in the Thousand Oaks Mall parking lot. I remember seeing that skyline at Life Plaza parked below the arcade. It was the first 7th gen meet I attended. Back in summer of 2002 I think. Probably that guy komodomichie was talking about. I also agree with White Castle that there are a lot of nice cars on Westlake Blvd. I know this is off topic, but my friend attended weekly car meet in calabasis at some coffee shop off of valley circle and saw a twin turbo ferrari along with many other exotics and other sports cars. Its in the morning you guys should check it out.
