Cat for adoption!
Hey guys, please help me out here, me n my gf been livin in san diego for a couple years, and recently they changed the policy on us, only allowing 2 cats instead of 3. Now we need to get rid of one of our cats, b/c our complex had to change plans on us. We plan on moving but all the places we've checked out only allow 2 cats!!!! WHAT THE HELL!!
anyway, the most mellow one we have is up for "grabs" and trust me, he's a hand full, weighing in a 17 lbs and only 2 years old.
here's a pic

if anyone is interested in him, feel free to PM me, or call me at 858-531-8977, my name's Dave. We really need to get rid of him even though its against our will, but as of now, we need to keep our residence, and continue med school preperations, and 2 cats is already a handful. if anyone can help out in any way, please do so! All is much appreciated!
Thanks

>_< he's super mellow! had all shots, neutered, we just gave him flea medication (Advantage is the brand) for the upcomming summer season. He's an indoor cat, and he's scared of the outside so you won't have to worry about this guy running away. ^_^

not that i can adopt him myself (i'm going to college, too), but around how much is it to "maintain" a cat for a year? just curious
so sidney, you decided on UCSD? congratulations, man. that's really great. well, i'm headed off to pittsburgh for carnegie mellon (yeah, barely anyone's heard of it, but it's good for engineering, which is what i want)

cmon hassoomi, take him with you! he'll just sit in your lap neway! haha
neway, "maintainence" costs um...every month, we buy a big bag of dry food ($7) and 2 cases of kitty litter (2x$7)...and every 3 months we get a case of wet food ($10)
we have 3 cats, so if you ahve one, it would be alot less.

man, i'd really love to, but i'm probably gonna be pretty busy next year (the princeton review rated carnegie as #3 for "They're students never stop studying"! weeee, fun fun
-- oh yeah, it was also on the "Is it food" list
).
anyway, what a chuuuuuubby cat. i really want him. ugh, too bad we've never been a pet family. good luck with giving it away, though

. i was just talking to a friend today about his "UCSD vs. Berkeley" decision, and he was telling me how great UCSD's bio programs (or bioengineering for you, right?) are.......among the best in the country. yup; hopefully one day we'll both be making bank $$ ........ soon soon hmmmm, this thread is about your CAT, if i remember correctly
Damn it, I would drive down there and take the kitty asap if you had posted this a little earlier. My new job keeps me out of the house all day and I would have loved to take him in.
I had a Siamese mix that I had house trained and everything. It was all mocha colored with black ears & eyes and a tail that had black stripes. Everyone used to call it a raccoon. At about 6-7 weeks we found out it had FIP and had to put it to sleep. =(
I was planning on adopting one at the shelter until I got my current job.
I hope you find him a real good home. Good luck.
