nah; i'm not gonna pay.........I'M HALF CHINESE! we cheap! hahaha. well, i guess the competition thing is a longer course and more driving, but still, there are only mazda3s there, so i'd rather take an rx-8 on the short course.
and yeah, 7:15 . i want to avoid the long lines. by the way, *ahem* don't forget any licenses tomorrow

here's the thing.........i already made the album (it's a small one) of the meet (and some of the rev-it-up stuff), but it has shots of people's license plates. the only thing i'm worried about is if people mind having that showing. it's a biatch to fuzz out every license plate, but if only one or two people mind, then i'll go ahead and fuzz those out...

haha, that reminds me of this one joke: "what did the blond say when asked, 'have you ever been picked up by the fuzz?'"

(errr, in case you didn't know, "fuzz" here means police. well, i didn't know that when i was told the joke a few years ago, so maybe you didn't :-/ )

hey dave, sorry we didn't get to meet at RevItUp, but i went really early (7 am and left a few hours later, a little after 10), so i don't even know if we "overlapped." anyway, it was really cool; the lines were pretty short (well, the rx-8 6-speed and the mazdaspeed miata lines were medium-ish). got a couple runs in the rx-8, mazda6, and mazda3. hmmm, yeah, that mazda3......took out a few cones in one turn, but luckily that guy didn't yell at me.

so yeah; i'll post up the pictures, and if anyone has any gripes, just let me know and i'll deal with any of the photos that you're in

yeah hassoomi, we didn't get to overlap, we got there at 12 ish..lol...just couldn't get up, had to sleep >_<

i got at least 6 runs on the mazda 3s, and i gotta say that sh*t is CRAZY!

I got 1 run on the rx8 and miata each, and WOW! I LOVE THE WAY THEY PULL! Does the miata have a turbo? cause I couldn't hear anything. I just felt a crazy pull @ 5000 revs...stupid stop sign!!!

Overall, i'd take a 3s anyday...that is just hands down the best overall vehicle there...

oh yeah, i got a few runs with the MPV too, and that thing pulls like a biotch...lol...thnx for the recommendation hassoomi! ;-)

this one guy kept screwing around, first with the rx8 (reved up really high in neutral), then with the miata (totally spun out), and one more time on the 3s 4 door (burned out at one of the turns trying to drift)...he kept on going on and on about how kool the cars understeer and how he was gonna pull the hand brake to drift the corners... got kicked out after 3 warnings...ROFL...he was banned form the rest of the competition series ($40 down the drain) and wasn't allowed to test drive anymore cars.

overall a damn good experience... A+

cool cool. sounds fun. yeah; i liked the 3s. it accelerated really well out of the corners. i tried the mazda6 a couple times, but even though it pulls harder, the steering wasn't as responsive. anyway...yeah, the miata has a turbo (see that tiny--TINY--intercooler?). i didn't get to drive it, though handicap thing. i was satisfied with the auto rx-8, though . i couldn't get used to that sportshift, so i just left it in drive.
