Street Racing on Discovery Channel
Anyone watch the street racing show on the discovery channel last night? 2 people got hooked up from autolink and another from apexi(?). The guy drove an eagle talon and the chick drove a 98(?) civic. The shops hooked them up and they were supposed to race on the track. Well the girl ended up going to the street races right after she got hooked up, told people what she had and happens that it was the people she was going to race. They looked her up on the internet and she posted everything that was on her car. So ya autolink changed their plans and she basically lost the race mainly because of it.
Damnit i was frustrated when she said/posted it too. i wanted a clean race too...

Em2guy, how did you audition? I was under the assumption that Discovery Channel was hitting up track events and street events finding people they were interested in. I remeber because they were at the Fullerton cruse nights when I was there asking about my friends car

the comapny that gave her all the stuff for her car was dynamic auto they gave her a motor and a bunch of **** but she ****ed it up. my friend works for dynamic and told us about it
>>yes that was us... they stopped by over the summer because we donated the motor and a ton of parts for that car... sad that she f'ed up the whole thing <<

the only thing that was f**ked up was the *** tuning they did to that dsm in ANY RACE other than an 1/8th that vic would have OWNED that porly tuned nitrous monster it broke the rear axel for gods sake all they did was put a monster shot of dry no2 in it did some minor upgrades and slap some hideous decals on it the vic was a show winning race winning proffessionaly tuned monster that could make it in a few page spread in any major tuning magazine. anyways i was just disgusted by the whole thing.
ps. but yea that chick was not the greatest rep for the female import community heh

ya they were the ones who worked on the car. Other companies sponsored them. Not sure how autolink got the parts but apexi called people and had dynamic sponsor the chick.

yah i seen it, that girl was so geeked about getting some stuff on her car, she went and posted pics and specs of every thing they put on...thats a no-no when trying to win races.
yeah i know but I posted about this before and I finally found something about it, just to add my 2 cents about that guy getting his *** kicked after yacking off so much. I wish someone coulda sent me that link when I posted...
