mazda 3 VS 7thgen
my friend gonna buy a mazda3
-automatic w/o triptronics
-160hp 150 torque
-2800lbs
and i was just wondering if my car can beat it
my car
-lx with intake/exhaust/no power steering pulley
-beat a manual eclipse gt (v6 w/ intake and straight pipe) in 1st & 2nd gears
-beat my friend's 1st generation 300zx with i/h/e set up... manual
what do u guys think?

Rep Power: 0 The mazda 3 is tight It's as fast as an SI cause I test drove one and I would definetly drive a mazda 3 before the new civic SI. I want to see the mazda speed version when it comes out. The mazda 3 not only looks good but it has features that you can get in cars in that price range from the factory like HID xenon,Navigation system, and such not even an SI has those as an option what a shame.
But as far as beating you in a race i'm not sure because if you have a manual and he has a auto you may have the adavantage depending on how the gearing is on the auto but the manual will most likely walk you.

I have driven a 300zx, and a civic is really, really slow compared to it!

yup i beat that everysingle time....now that i have no power steering i cann pull from him even faster now
