Argh darn headunit!
my headunit just went down the drain...there goes 3 bills...i dunno what's wrong with it, nor does the installer i took it to to get it checked...he said that it may just be a manu. defect...do i'm going to call up pioneer and see what they have to say about it ..but damn it i drove for like 3 days without music in mycar and i was going nuts...finally got my stock unit back in today.
oh yea, if it doesn't work out with pioneer, anyone got a nice HU for sale?

You have the 8400MP or 840MP right?
Two of my friends had problems with those units. Jammed screens (won't slide down) and sudden deaths.
I think they went to AL&ED's or something like that and got them replaced. They didn't buy them from that store, but the store sent them to Pioneer for repairs. All you have to pay is like $15 to cover shipping. Takes about 4-6 weeks to get them back!
Good luck
