Summary of ride along with L.A County Sherriff Dept

Hey wassup everyone..today i went on my ride along at the temple city sherriff dept...all i have to say that it was lots of fun..and that everyone needs to sign up for one...i got to the temple city sherriff station at 3pm...within 1min of gettin into the patrol car..we had a call on the radio of a possible break in...we roll to the houes goin 70-80 mph and met up wit like 6 other cop cars...they all surrounded the house wit their guns drawn..and slowly searched the house only to find the maid had accidently hit the panic alarm...after that ordeal we went to a hotel where an officer had ran the plates on a car only to find that the suspect that owns the car was in a hotel full of crack and stolen stereo merchandise...we go to the hotel searced the place as well as the car and booked both the male and the female...later on that night...we got a call for GTA (grand theft auto) and that the suspect maybe still around the area...so over 8-9 cop cars roll up surround the whole block...air unit flyin over head..and 3 k-9 units were released to find the suspect...these were just some of the many exciting things that occured on my ride along...some other events were physical dispute, possible burglary, stolen purse, possession of drugs..etc

During my ride along i asked many officers why they tend to pick on imports, cadillacs and other cars...and to my suprise i actually agreed with their decision...many of them told me that 1st...most teenagers as well as "gangsters" drive civics...therefore sometimes when they get calls its usually an individual drivin civics...and in order to pull them over...they would have to find probable cause..wut better way then to blame their car being lowered, exhaust being loud..however there are some cops that jus dont like imports...lol

2nd. For those that ask y cops pull over some imports while lettin others go..it really depends on many factors such as the time of day...like durin my ride along..a civic wit a loud exhaust tintedwindow..busted turn signal flew by...at night..after checkin his computer there was no backup or unt nearby..so he decided to let them go because of safetly...he told me that u never know if theres 1,2,or 3 individuals that cuold be in the car

BUt yeah for realz people should sign up for ride alongs wit their local police station..its alot of fun and u can learn alot of things..as well as how to get away from things...ll
