no way, any car looks clean with tint, no matter what color the car. of course unless you have mirror tint, imo that is so ugly. but if you take it to the place where u got it tinted they should take it off for you for free. but leave it on...save your interior during the summer sun. my .02

$130, I could just have it retinted for the summer. Thats what I was thinking about because in the summer I usually get a job, summer job.
is this what you consider mirror?

I think it looks really clean right now.
The answer to your question:
The only thing that could go WRONG when removing tint is the cutting the rear defroster lines. To remove tint, they just spray water and use a knife to slice the tint and from there it peels off.
If the tint guy slices the rear tint the wrong way, then he might cut the rear defroster lines. Someone told me that if they cut ONE line that the entire rear defroster won't work. That's about it...
Hope that helps!

I got my car tinted at california tint also. They seem to do a great job for tint. However, i got pulled over by the cops so i had to remove it. Removing it is really easy. You'll need a razor and windex glass cleaner. Peel off the tint from the edge carefully with a razor and then just tear it off the window. After removing the tint, there will be a lot of glue stuck on the window. Use the windex and spray it on the window and use the razor to scrape off the glue. Don't worry, your window will not be scratched. Just use lots of windex.

dahaha, right now i'm out of town cause i'm attending college... I just removed the tint from my front windows. Without the tint, it is much more easier to see at night. Backing up during the night is still difficult to do with dark tint. Maybe someone else here can do it for you or you can just go to california tint and have them remove it.
