Hi guys I just checked my credit at www.myfico.com and I got a good report anyway I would suggest you guys go through your credit also it took me like 5 minutes and It cost like $13.00 it is a very helpfull site and it tells you some neat stuff about your particular credit with graphs and stuff I found that if I pay off one of my cards my credit would increase by up to 100 points so needless to say that has already been done! any way I would highly recommend it for you all especially if you got turned down recently for something and wanted to see what they see about you especially with all the Identity theft that has been going on latley.
I am soooo happy I got good credit !!!!!

well. a 13 dollar one is probably just ONE report from ONE credit bureau ...
it usually runs 30-40 for a report from all 3.
myfico gives u ur fico score too though I think.
there are some other better offers out there I think.. like $100 for unlimited reports for the rest of your life.. that'll come in handy..
u can request free reports from individual credit reporting bureaus if you have recently filed for credit and got denied (credit card, loans, etc.)... by federal law, whatever credit report (one and/or three) that the creditor used to determine that you're not quality... you can request for a free report (alright someone fix my sentence. lol)
anyway there may be other ways to get it for free but eh. why dont u share...
course if a friend or family member works at one of the places, thats different. maybe.
and I have good credit too :P
though I dont need it anytime soon... and I'm at the verge of screwing it up with my shopping spree. lol.

Available Balance / Maximum Credit Lines
It is a good idea to check your credit every 6 mos though, due to misapplied accounts and ID theft. I am in the process of setting up a DIY for buying a car including a huge portion on knowing your credit.
As promised:
Car Buying DIY- Best Practices
By the way, my territory for underwriting loans in California, that's why I drop in this forum. I have specific knowledge of CA state usury, laws, and fees if you guys need help with buying a new car.
