Help with 2004 EX rims

I found a deal for brand new set of 4 04 ex wheels&new tires for $450, and it also comes with the lugnuts and wheel locks as well. I'm just wondering if it's a good deal or not...Consider they are brand new and never used. Please throw in some ideas for me if I should take the deal or not. I'm actually having 18" C2's on my civic but I'm just feeling terrible about the gas mileage! (Around 260) Anyway, your opinions would be appreciated! Thanks.

Are you sure only 260 miles? Since u have 19"s the OD of the wheel is bigger than stock which the sensor reads a shorter distance.

Yah from what I saw on the oil gauge it only has about 260 miles from filled up to low. I know the speed sensor would be different but the fact is that I got really low gas mileage...=(

15" rims won't give you an extra 50 miles to the tank. Adjust your driving to grandma style.

$450 is a decent deal for brand spankin' new ones.

I used to have 360 miles before with my 15 stock wheel covers, so it should be around 320 to 340 after I got these 15 wheels on. I just can't take the 260 no more though the 18"s really looks good on civic. Man I have an automatic and I do drive like a grandma lol!=)

Its cuz you have an auto, and if you drive slow you accelerate fast.

Dang you got a special edition of Civic!=) J/K. Do you have an automatic or a manual? Cuz if it's a manual then it should save some more gas but from 15" to 18" without less mileage is kinda...wonderful I think...-__-lll
