Warning for our cars in SoCal
Make sure you guys DO NOT let the ash sit on your car for whatever reasons.. most popular being "I'll just wait for the fire to end so I only have to wash it once"... well according to the AAA, the ash is VERY corrosive to your paint, especially if left for days at a time. They recommend to DUST your car with one of those long-handled dusters. Just some advice.

i havn't waxed the car for 2months and the fog moisture that got on the paint had acid in em and it created minor craters on the paint. so watch out peeps... wax that shiitt!

waxing is overrated... to do it properly, you must first rid the surface of any contaminants using a high quality claybar, then comes polish, then wax. Wax is the final layer which puts a seal over the finish to protect the shine
