Install Questions and Help Please
Hi guys I'm new to this board and I was wondering if you could help me out with a little info.
My buddy has a 2003 Civic EX coupe. Recently he purchased:
1. AEM CAI with no bypass valve
2. DC Sports Ceramic Coated Headers (4-1)
3. HKS Hi-power exhaust system
4. Skunk2 Coilover sleeves, no aftermarket shocks to go along with the sleeves.
My friend was supposed to have all of this stuff installed at his brother's friend's shop free of charge but some things went awry with that so we are looking at alternative options. I myself have never installed springs, CAI, or headers. I have done an exhaust before. I think that CAI should not be TOO hard so I could do that myself as well. My friend doesnt know that much about how to work on cars. When I first modified my accord I had a shop do all the work but its been a long time since that time so I have no idea how much installs would cost anymore.
So here is my question.
1. How much do you think a shop would charge to install all of these things? I mean I know some shops charge different prices, but on average how much do you think it would cost to have all of these things installed?
2. How much would you yourself charge if you were to do it?
3. Is there anyone that is willing to do all or some of these installs, and how much would you charge? If so where are you located and when would you be able to do this.
Thank you all for reading this long post.
My friend is in L.A. by the way but I'm sure he'd be willing to drive a reasonable distance.

Hey Jays friend.
What was your name?
This is Jays friend Brian, from CSUF.
The CAI, header, exhaust should be fairly easy to do.
The coilovers are a little tricky. You need a spring compressor I think because you don't want it to pop and shoot out. KRAGANS will let you borrow tools for free. Go to Kragans and see if you can get your needed tools. You should be able to do it all in a day.

CAI is easy to install if you know how to use a wrench and a screwdriver,
headers are a little bit more tricky...hardest part is getting the bolts loose.
don't get a bypass valve...you will never drive in 3 feet of water and hydrolock
your engine in california
