hahaha me and u are in the same boat i have like 10% tread on 2 of my tires and i feel them slip nasty. im very undecided cuzz i need new tires im beetween, kumho ecsta supra 712 <-=- good n sticky wet n dry, pirelli p7000 supersport <-=- wich is a all around tire good for dry and wet, flaken azenis <-== sickest grip tire but only good for dry not wet. im trying to get all theese in at leat 215/45/16 and price goes from 79.00 - 110.00 i know i want the azenis but ill probly only use thoes as a track tire. but other wise than that im leaning more to the 712's or the p7000

i've been looking at yoko's es100 or parada spec 2's. i can't make myself decide between the two, but those are the two i've been interested in when i get some rims.

I have Falkens FK451s, and they are by far great tires... except when I slam on the brakes really hard, the traction thingie makes me squiggle while braking. Like they are sticking to the ground so well, that the car just squiggles. Does that make sense?
haha.. the best I could describe...

I like Michelin high end performance tires

BF Goodrich G-Force TA's

Yoko Parada spec II's

my bridgestone potenza RE950 is pretty good.

no complaint so far.

i haven't get to test wet traction much... but it was good enough on a wet day that I couldn't tell that the road's wet.

the RE950 is about one or two step down from the top Potenzas... S-03/S-02 pole position... (comes stock on S2Ks)

but there's other good brands too.

I'm at 7K miles.. thread still looks good. 90% or more still there I believe. and I do moderate driving...

if u want some tires that last long but aren't as grippy...
u can get kumho 711 which is what i got... or any other touring tire

they're really good for daily driving with a tread rating of 320 which will last quite awhile... only cost me around $60 each from discount tire centers

i'm happy with them, they are pretty good, i took it on angeles crest and turnbull and i wasn't sliding all over the place or anything...

although they aren't as grippy as azenis on dry, on wet they are better...

Nitto NT450 (or better.. NT555). If all fails, then Falken ZIEX.
