Does anyone know anything about hamsters? Mine doesn't seem too happy. 
She sleeps most of the time. Usually in the afternoon...is it cuz she's bored or is she like that? I'm worried.

Rep Power: 0 im w david on this one.and i really dont like little animals like that cause they stink, well to me they do.my friends have stuff like that, and i mean there soo boring but sumtimes they are cute looking and somtimes fluffy.but i think they do sleep alot, what else they got to do in a glass case w little wood chips everywhere?

Anyway, umm... I gave my ex a hamster back in the days, and it was like our "kid" -- it got really active at night. It would sleep during the day alot, when it was full.
My family has a guinea pig, and it moves around --- but it has gotten lazy and likes to just lay there.
Also, the weather has gotten warmer; they feel like lounging, I guess.

Rep Power: 0 Yeah hamsters are usually only active at night I used to have one and it would sleep all frigin day and at night like almost 20mins after the light goes off " little piece of carpet" (my knickname for him) turned into a freaking battery operated hell raiser it would jump on that wheel and run like hell for a long time and then it will try to chew its way out of the cage and the next day it practically plays dead.
