Research Associate / Biology
This position requires an industry experienced Research Associate to support drug discovery activities related to validation and isolation of therapeutic targets. Candidates must posses a BS or MS degree in Molecular Biology with 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in a molecular biology laboratory. Prior experience in target validation utilizing genomics and proteomics techniques is desired. Basic technical skills in molecular cloning, gene expression analysis, PCR and quantitative PCR are required. Excellent communication and presentation skills required as well as the ability to be flexible, working well independently or closely within a team. Understanding of basic bioinformatics software such as BLAST is highly desirable.

Research Associate / Biology

Qualified candidates must posses a BS or MS degree in a biological science with 2 to 3 years industrial drug discovery experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in various modern cell-based assay platforms with prior experience specifically in GPCR-ligand binding, GPCR signaling, as well as with related techniques and instruments. An intermediate to advanced skill level is required with various scientific data analysis programs such as MS Excel and Prism. Excellent communication, presentation, data analysis, problem solving, and quality control skills are required as well as the ability to deliver results in a timely manner. Knowledge of biochemistry and enzymology is a major plus.
