Type B Lip fitment?
Hi hi
I'm really excited because someone on this site *ahem* is helping me get my type B lip.
Anyways, I was worried about the fitment. I know I'm not paying a wings west price, but anyways, for those that do have the type b lip... what did you have to do as far as fitment?
I mean, of course, nothing aftermarket will fit perfect, but I am crazy as far as perfect lines and gaps go. So, did anyone do any little "ghetto" adjustments? I think I saw someone with a zip tie on theirs... hmm...
Oh yes, and I searched. Plus, you can't call me a noob.. hahaha
So tell me about your lip fitting.. and adjustments..
Oh yeah, and second question: will a car look stupid with the front , sides BUT NO back lip or anything?
Right now, I have the stock bumper and don't want to go any lower in the back ... my exhaust is currently burning off my bumper -- there is a hole in it already. Anything lower would totally screw me. haha. I prolly will cut my bumper.. but not ready yet.

Well the front lip isnt a perfect fit and plus you'll see some gaps here and there on there on the lip but nothin extreme. Only if you get really close to it then you'll see the gap. The lip kinda lifts up a little and heres what I did: http://www.7thgencivic.com/forums/sh...01#post1222201
Its ghetto but who cares, its not like there gonna look at the bottom anyways. Other than that I love my Type B lip
. Trust me, it'll make your car look WAAAAAY different

well first off, i dont have the back (because i dont fell like spending 200 for it), and my car dont look stupid.
use dubble stick tap on the middel so it dont come up, i clamped the side down on my bumper and when everything was lined up i drilled the holes.

Haha. Thanx for the input, guys.
dru106, that was mighty clever! Thanx for the tip.... I think that might have been what I was thinking I saw before?
Yeah, and I am thinking of not putting any kind of rear add-on on. I am going to just forget the idea, because my rear is low enough the way it fits now with exhaust. Errr.. that didn't sound so good. I mean my car rear. lol
If I have any install problems, (as I will be doing it all by myself!! ), I will post and bother again. hehe

The RS type-a rear does NOT fit the coupe without serious modification. You can ask JOO if you don't believe me.
The RS type-a front & sides fit both coupe and sedan fine.

The type B has a rear for the sedan -- which doesn't help me.
If the type A rear doesn't fit without modification then fugget about it.
haha
Wait.. why am I even considering this?? I am staying stock rear. errrrr.. u guys got me carried away with lips and all...
