On fri, i was driving by the union station in los angeles and well we were at a street light. well i was at a complete stop and some 1976 civic didnt even bother to stop and rear ended me. luckily, i didnt hit the peeps in front of me. i pull over a sheriff and he said he and lpd cant do nuthin bout it cuz there were no extreme injuries . anyways he tells us to exchange info and he straight up bounced not even bothering to say anything else. i started to get there info and they didnt have a front plate. i walk to the back and their tags expired Oct 2001 and her insurance expired frekane in 2002. i just have a feeling that im gonna egt F**KED over on this. my car looks like **** and well, i cant sell my taillights anymore. anyone got anyinfo on what miight/can happen???????

oh yah, forgot the art were the f**ker driving wa giving me the chicks info and when i asked for his ****, he was all i dont know where my lisense is, he gave me his info and dl num but thats not good enough. these crackhead motherf**ker prob got his liscense revoked or some ****

damn. that really sux... maybe contact the person and see if you can arrange to settle this out of insurance? (eek). maybe find out if they're willing and if not, call you insurance company asap. your suppose to report the accident within 24 hrs i think (please correct me if i'm wrong). I've gotton into 1 accident, but I was able to settle it outside of insurance. Goodluck.

p.s. I am Mexican[and live in Koreatown] and I know that a lot[not everybody] of Latin people in this area lack insurance. Thus, I try to avoid bumping into 'my' people.

dam **** sucks really bad, i have some century 21 insurance and i pay like 1600 every 6 months for full coverage on everything.

sue them, get a lawyer and make them pay, and if they don't pay they better go to jail for a while, and they better pay you back when they get their paycheck to deduct ur monies

I have a similar story from last year.

In one of my many accidents, I was hit by a mazda miata. Driver, white male. Car owner, his japanese girlfriend with no english, etc.
Driver has no license.
Neither has insurance.
He tells the cop (who was there) that they have eastwood, except they don't have it with them.
At this point, I now know that he just made it up -- having no insurance.

Even with a lawyer, guess who paid for the damages??
I have 'uninsured motorist' covered on my policy, so my insurance paid for it. My own insurance.
The lawyer did ask if I wanted to sue them. I asked him what he thought. The lawyer says that if I sue the guy who hit me, then I will probably win but still get nothing from him (cuz he has no money).

The guy never paid up... but my own insurance did.

If no, then u must be hella screwed.
If yes, then yeah, at least it will get fixed.

serio dude, i do want to sue her ****in bad but i dont know, i do have a lawyer involved now and i dunno, i did call their "insurance" and well, mercury said that her policy is "expired" and has to check if its under a different name now. so now my *** is assed out on my car looking like ****, tem back and neck pains, and ****ing missing out on the US Open which is like my highlight of the fu*king summer. hate stupid peeps yo!!!!!

I work at a law firm and if you actually sue them, you can't lose money out of the case if you win. The settlement check pays for your portion of the representation fees. When you settle a case, 1/3 goes to the lawyers, a third goes to you, and a third goes to the doctor that fixed you up (usually a third doesn't cover all the medical expenses, but the attorneys get the rest of the fees waived). If you do decide to sue the other party, good luck, but i think you better look at what you can get out of it before you take it through a long *** lengthy process. either way....good luck man.

As Long as you have Uninsured Motorist on your insurance then ur insurance can fix ur car with no problems. If you dont have that coverage then what u need to do is get a lawyer to get this guy that hit u.

I got rear ended last week on the 17th at a Jack in the Crack right at the drive thru. I was going to work but decided to buy some breakfast. So i drove in towards drive thru I had to make a right hand u-turn but I had to stop becuz there was a blue 02 civic sedan waiting at the first menu. So I stopped a couple of second later I hear a crunch from behind . I Park and she parks also . I get out look at my rear end and my drivers side rear end is pushed in and my tail light is cracked . She hit me with a 95 explorer. With no damage to her vehicle. I try to call the cops to make a report and they can't come becuz we were on Private Property. and that we should exchange info. So we exchange info. And I come to find out that she works there. She tries to blame me bucuz supposedly she didn't see my turn signal letting her know I was turning right. Hello "My brake lights are on, and I was stopped for a couple of seconds" . 1st of all I deliver parts for a living, and I drive very safely always use turn signals, mirrors, look behind. So I knew I hit the turn signals. but I think they turned off becuz after I u-turned I always adjust the wheel. And 2nd I think she was late and was in a hurry and probably drives in and parks in the same spot. And is so used to it that this time she didn't register my car being there and normally just turned in and struck me. What a F!@#$ing PENDEJA !!!


I just want my car back to normal and a rental to compensate for the time that is used for the restoration of my vehicle, with no money out of my pocket.
