Brunch on Saturday??

Anybody want to meet for brunch on Saturday? We could meet up at the 51 and Bell, than cruise out to Chaparral and Scottsdale to my uncles restaraunt. They have some very good food. If anybody is down, let me know.

They have breakfst foods, sandwiches, APPLE PANCAKES!(these are like a giant cinnamon roll, mmmmmmmm), german pancakes(just as good as apple, but in a different way).

Let me know if anybody wants to meet up for a little drive. We can cruise up scottsdale if you guys want. Do some showing off with all our cars.

maybe in 2 weeks. Thursday my car was heating up in 5 minute drives when my car was completely cooled of before. So I couldnt get to work Fri. Sorry about that. I still want to go there, but this weekend Ill be in San Diego, and it sounds like you guys have a cruise going on.

My car is not overheating anymore. Im going to go buy the radiator cover today. I have the rs grill, and it doesnt match up with the coupe radiator cover, so I have to get the sedan one today. Hopefully that will help keep my car cooler on the hot *** days. My car drove fine 15-20 miles today, and it ran cooler than it usually does (even stock). So its not my hg. Just needs better cooling.

the radiator cover is merely for cosmetics/protection...its not going to keep the car any cooler

Les was sayin something about the airflow flowing more down to the radiator with the cover on, instead of just throughout the engine bay. Ever heard of that? Figured its worth a shot. It cant be more than 10 bucks for it. Hondas not bad on their pricing. 30 bucks for the nippon leakless.

Its just gotta be way too hot outside. I just drove for about 45 minutes, and my car was fine. Was fine on the way to work, and was fine at 9psi behind the g35 last night. If I blew my headgasket, Im pretty sure I would have no coolant, have smoke come out of my hood or exhaust, and see coolant somewhere in the engine bay (around the head). Im not losing too much. Every 2-4 weeks depending on how I drive it, I have to add a little.

There was a older Mustang GT and newer Camaro SS on Camelback at 40th st today. It was the perfect opportunity to race, but Im not setting my **** up past 5 or 6 psi usually. Takes too long. If I plan on racing around a little bit, I set it up to 11 (incase of a spike).

So Its just too hot, and my radiator cant support the extra heat on my motor. Especially in this damn hell hole, lol.

i think you meant more hot air would flow down towards the radiator with the cover off, right?

i dont think its going to help too much, but its worth a shot

even if it doesnt solve the problem, it will atleast look better when you open the hood...
and yeah, i can get those covers for around $10.00 from the dealer

Time to say F Bank of America. Go to Desert Schools. They are good people. B of A has me as a verbally abusive customer in their computer. Some **** called me up, and said I was wrong, I have to pay all this money. I kept saying the customer is always right, etc, etc. He was like, "Yeah, well you are wrong, and Im putting you as verbally abusive in our computer."
I did cuss him out nicely though. I paid over 3,000 in fees in about 5 months. I was tired of their BS. I use online banking every day and know EXACTLY what is in my account at all times. Bank of America ws the one screwing up everytime.

I have not had one problem EVER with Desert Schools.

Good luck getting your car/truck taken care of.....bastards

yeah think about it... your intercooler covers the lower(bigass) opening where the radiator would normally derive most of its cooling... now there is some air that goes in through the upper grill opening... air is simple and will take the path of least resistance... so if there is no cover, all the air that goes in will flow right over in the gap(between the hood and top tank of the radiator). With the cover in place it should force it through the upper portion of the radiator... It seems to me to be the cheapest fix for it!

I want to see you(tuned) and the G35 go head to head! you kept up nicely the other night!

Peace
