I got them off myself. My friend thats 3 times bigger couldnt get it, than the next morning I shove a prybar in the teeth of the flywheel, tried getting them, and they came right off.
I installed my clutch and flywheel. My linkage is back on, my tranny and front mount are on. Tranny is back on of course. Starter, and some other misc crap. So i should finish up tonight. Other than my slave which wont be in town til tomorrow id say. But Im going to Telluride, CO tomorrow. So when I get back, Ill fix that part. I learned a lot from doing all this. I feel very confident changing a clutch now.
Thanks Joey. I have your tools, but am going out of town. I dont know if I can meet up with you tonight, but I will try. I am going to 16 & colter before 9:00 pm tonight. Ih ave to take some fingerprints to get certified to take my exams finally
. My school is just north of colter, so let me know if you want to meet up tonight. Or if you want to let me hold them for about a week, lol. Ill be back in town next tues or wed. I have to put my rear mount on still, and a couple other things lying around. Just let me know what you want to do. I can tell my mom youll be coming by if youd like to get them in a couple days when Im gone. Ill have them all organized and put in the same spot we were using them.Talk to you later
Peace

haha, all these damn excuses. haha
Im about done. I only have my axles/wheels left, and this little mount thing for some lines that I am unsure of how it goes together. its something simple, and I could find a pic to show me that. I am going to pic up my clutch slave today, and Adam should be helping me put the rest back together. I also ripped a little boot (not a cv though), this one is like an inch diameter, so Ill have to replace that. I think it is so there is no squeeking as I turn. Ill get that part today, or as soon as I can get it in from Honda.
I finally got my cell phone back on. My number is 602-446-1864. I will be working on this tonight if anybody wants to come by. just give me a call and Ill let you know whats up.
I had a blast partying at the bluegrass festival.

Why dont I give you a little story. Here is one of his adventures...
So, Adam used to drive through fast food places and ask for water. He would pull up and get the water. Than he'd throw the water on the person in the drive-thru. He did this a few times and didnt get caught. Than he pulls up to another joint. He does the same thing, and shorts out their entire intercom system. lol. He didnt know at the time, and little did he know, he was on camera. So they tracked down his license plate and he had to pay over 1,000 for the new system.
He does **** like that^^.
Its funny as hell though.

How bad is it to drive with a busted tie rod boot? For a couple days will it be alright? I have to go to Honda tonight anyways and get a few things. clutch slave cylinder, clutch slave line (I really doubt its in stock), and a tie rod boot.
Do I have to replace the entire tie rod, or can I just replace the boot? I can exchange a part anyways with them for the new one, since I dont need the clutch master cylinder. Still in the bag sealed and everything.
Let me know any info, thanks a lot. PM would be nice, since I may be leaving soon, and not getting online for a while.
Thanks

fast response. Do you know how much they are for the customers? 2 for 5 isnt bad, I couldnt imagine them being that much money. I just want to get them tonight. I am on the Eastside, meeting up would be hard with my girls car. If you can get a hookup at the Honda in Scottsdale, on 78th and bell I believe, let me know.
Thanks a lot!

Les-
Adam has a crushed pelvis, not fractured. He almost died from how much blood he lost on Friday night when he crashed. He came out of his coma, than was in so much pain, that he ripped his respirator out. They induced the coma to keep him calm. He has a lot of fluid in his lungs, and is just in a lot of pain. They are gonna try to rebuild his pelvis, not replace it. Hopefully all goes well. They will take him out of the coma in about 3 days.

My car is finally off the stands. Its all done, other than the line Im waiting on, but that shouldnt take but 5 or 10 minutes to install. I also have to add some tranny fluid, than Im good to go. Also a couple bolts got lost, but I know exactly where tey go, so Ill have those in before monday when my line comes in. Ill do my tie rod boot soon after. i cant wait to feel the clutch and motor mount bushings. Its gonna be bad ***.

I finally know how to fix my car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bring it to a shop and let them fix it, hahaha.
It was towed yesterday morning, and hopefully it will be done this week, but it could be sometime next week. oh well, free labor, free ps pump, hoses, and ****. so i cant complain. The tow guy also hooked me up super f**kin cheap for a 15-20 mile drive. It was gonna be like 90 bucks, but he only charged 40. not too bad to get my car towed and fixed.
Peace

yeah, so in a couple saturdays it will be done, just like the title says, lol, hahaha.
I miss my car. Its been a couple months now I think. I had my car towed again yesterday down the street from me. Its my sons grandpa, and he works for midas. He printed out all the info on changing a clutch, and it takes him about 6 hours for new clutch on a civic. All he has to do is fix the shift fork though, so he wont need to touch the clutch/flywheel.
Just sucks that the tranny has to be ripped apart for something that just has to clip in and takes less than a min to fix. Ill say my car will be back in 2 weeks, to give myself extra time (even though Im hoping tomorrow or the next night?).
Just a little shitty update. Nothing is working in my favor, other than my new 300,000 house & decorations, haha.
