I added one, on Tatum, south of shea, they have had police hiding every single day for the last 15-20 years. they catch a lot of speeders

I was driving home from L.A. this past Wednesday on I-10 just past the tunnel and I accidently cut this car off going into the HOV lane. Well, after a while, the car pulls up next to me and the guy is hanging out his window flinging his arm around yelling and calling me a MF'er. I sped up a little bit to get away from the car, and it pulls right behind me, turns on his lights(red/blue) Yep, it was an undercover cop. That totally surprised me, that a cop would have road rage and then pull me over for doing 65 in the 55 speed limit on I-10. He comes to my window and asks if I had a license, I said, "Yeah" then he says, "oh, I thought you were learning how to drive!" He then asks me to get out of my car and go to the passenger side of his car. While writing me a citation for waste of finite materials, and lane usage. He says, I don't appreciate your girlfriend giving me the bird. I went on saying, we didn't know you were a cop, and we didn't expect a cop to act like this. He then says, "look at my shirt bro."(had police on the sleeve of a black long sleeve tee)I guess he was a special operations officer(SWAT for DPS). I said, Sorry, I wasn't looking at your shirt when you were yelling and cursing at me! Then he said, look at the inside of my car. I looked, and said, "what? look at your briefcase laying down on the passenger seat?"(didn't have radar or anything on the dash) I was given my ticket and he didn't say have a nice day or drive safe or anything like they usually do. He got in and took off before I got in my car. I was soo pissed. Sorry for ranting guys, but this was kind of a speed trap I guess. Does anyone know if I can report this officer. I have his name, badge # and car/license plate #? Also, does anyone know what the fines are for Waste of finite material and lane usage? Or where I can find out how much it is. He didn't give me the envelope or a phone # or anything.

Yah the ticket is about 30 to 40 bucks, mine are usually 35, and it dosent go on your record nor your insurance. If your going to get a ticket i always try and come out with one of these. And definantly report him.

Yup. I am always aware of the speed limit, and most roads I have memorized. I know the northside and everywhere I drive. I make sure when the speed changes to slower, I slow down. What do the police set their detectors to usually? Do they usually pull you over for 8 or more over the speed limit? I go 5 most the time, only reach 100 or 120 if racing, than slow the hell down. And Ive only done that once in the 2.5 almost 3 months Ive been boosted. I have too much to live for, lol.

I knew it was 55, I was just going with the flow of traffic. Nobody goes 55 on I-10 through I-10/I-17 interchange areas. I still don't think that cop should have had road rage over it. I've been cut of a hundred times, yeah I get pissed off, but I don't pull up next to them yelling and cussing. I just do it to myself in my car and maybe honk too. How can I report that officer? Anybody know?

Every agency is different...I give 15 over under most circumstances. How can you argue when you were doing 15 to 20 over? ya cant

DPS might give 5 mph, maybe...unless the speed limit is 75 then they have no speed tolerance. And they have no patience for peopl that tailgate and change 5 lanes at once to get ahead of traffic

You can call that officer's agency and make a complaint...get his info off the ticket.

The only time I come out of my car yelling is when #1) The person I pull over starts to get out of his car before I make contact #2) The person is driving like a total a$$hole and needs to be yelled at [criminal speed, or reckless/aggressive driving]
