Rep Power: 0 I drive like an old man now.
i realized this on the way home tonight. i remember when i had to get from A to B the fastest way possible.
i always used to drive in the fast lane. now i drive in the center lane, or even the slow lane. never above 70 or 75 at the most.
im always on the lookout for whats about to come out of the next corner. always afraid that some douche bag will nail me again.
every once in a while i mash it to hear the ol' V8 rumble, but then i realize that i just wasted 5 bucks worth of gas. and every now and then i like to donuts in empty lots when it rains. but nothing like it used to be.
am i just getting old now? maybe i should move to sun city?

Rep Power: 0 Gotta be 55+ for sun city, sorry to burst your bubble.
I know what you mean, except its tickets that caused me to slow down. I havent been pulled over in a couple years now, and I drive the speed limit 99% of the time. Its cheaper to go the speed limit, and safer. Keep it up! I also have kids in my car a lot, so I dont speed with them, if I do its like 5-10 over occasionally.

Rep Power: 0 It actually works. Police dont follow me too often unless Im driving fast. Usually after a minute or two of them following me and me going the speed limit, they turn or bust a Uey. Or turn their lights on, cut traffic off, go on the wrong side of the road, go through a red light, get back on their side, and turn off the lights. hehe.

Rep Power: 251 My driving habits have tamed down since getting a little older and a little wiser(<<<I think thats the key word) When I get some open road though I do like to get on it every once in a while.

Rep Power: 272 wow! i thought it was only me. I used to smash everywhere...always in the fast lane, always lookin for that "open spot" between cars that I can barely squeeze into in order to pass everybody. i thought i was invisable to cops cuz i always drove like that and never got caught...then one day my luck changed and i got 4 tickets in a matter of a couple months. Now i drive like my grandma. Sometimes i hate it..because even if i wanna drive fast im too scared to get another ticket! haha i just cant afford it. but other times i enjoy driving slow...infact sometimes i like driving below the speed limit just to cruise and enjoy the drive.

Rep Power: 270 You know after i was in a crash i felt the same way and now i still drive fast but just i try to be on the lookout more. Just dont worry you only live once and make the best of it. If something is ment to happen it will happen and i dont think your getting old yet, you are just obeying the laws now.
