My neighbor was like, nah just get on it see what it can do, but dont drive it like that all the time. So it should be chill.
The only fitment issue is hopefully, where the downpipe connects to the manifold, it came with 3 screw things, but they dont fit at all. Either they could be tapped larger, or welded on. I'll probably have it welded on, if I ever need to take it off, I can weld it to take it off.

Whatever, I just woke up off a few hours of sleep with 2 kids when I typed that up.
And of course I need it tuned, but the kit comes with presets for every pound of boost on what you should increase the fuel too. So I can run for a little while, pretty safe, but will be getting tuned in a few weeks. Im guessing before my clutch, since tuning is more important.

So you think about 7 or 8 you'll be by on Friday Les? I think it will be you, I and 2 of my friends. Maybe another person or two. I dont want a whole bunch of people over on Friday. I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooo excited. Its driving me crazy not having it on yet. Especially when somebody wants to race, I just feel like, Come back in a week to race
This is a terrible pain of looking at it and not havin it on. I may start myself with like taking headers/cat off and starting on the manifold/turbo. I should be in the process of that whenever you get there. Juss let me know (but you prob. wont know til Friday?) when youre planning on coming. I got a soldering iron and some solder, so for the electrical you can use that. You may have a better one though, if you want to use yours. Mine was 10 bucks.
I hope I get my gauges in time as well. I really really dont want to have it on w/out the gauges. I will still be puttin the turbo on regardless, but I wont be able to drive it hard at all.
And a question Les:
Do you remember the preset directions for the FMU? It said like 1Psi - than a number, and it went up with each pound. Well, do I set the settings at each PSI so as it reaches that amount of boost, it adds that amount of fuel? Or do I add for RPMs? Or both maybe? This was probably confusing as hell, my bad.
Is everybody still coming (or changed there minds) on Saturday?? Let me know if you want to come.
here is the list which I will edit as people respond (if you dont respond, you get no grub or beer, hehe):
Me
TommyTran
n20hcvc
azcruisin (best to be there or something bad will happen to your new car, hehe j/p)
Danny
Dustin
Adam
Sunday people for other stuff (suspension for uberjeff)
JoeyOKC
uberjeff (can come over sunday if anybody wants to help with suspension) You dont want me to do it. I trust myself on my car, but not enough to do somebody elses, sorry. I can lead you in the right direction for whatever you need, though. Maybe Les can help out for 3 days, hehe. Better be there saturday though, hes gotta go for a ride with me first. Since hes helping so much! Your the shyt!
Peace

Im shootin for alot earlier than that but fridays are hella busy for me at work usually. See if you can snag a haynes manual that I can munch on the wiring diagram on friday night to match what we need to for the turbo timer portion of the install... also the grid with the boost and timing laid out is the injector pulsewidth for the additional injectors... it looked like a based or reference map to start from! It looked like it was only for boost so there will need to be some adjustment depending on how it runs at diff rpm... do you have gauges yet? you getting A/F? its not accurate but it'll tell you if you're in the danger zone at least!!!
I pretty much have the whole weekend scheduled for car stuff so its not taking me away from anything bro!... Uberjeff keep your eyes peeled on the board for how its goin... give a shout if you still want to on Sunday!... I'll make time since you took the day off!
Peace

Ill make time for sure, Im down to work on cars all weekend.
How about I find a wiring diagram of all the wires and stuff online. Between Gauges, pillar pod, spark plugs, clutch, and adjustable cam gear, Im gonna be screwed for Mexico. So Im gonna look for the wiring info on here. It has been posted before, if that doesnt work, I may hit up a library, hehe. They got em. You can let me know if the directions I find are clear. I know where most the wires are and know most the places to tap into them I believe, so I can probably just show you what to tap into. Ive been throughout my car like 1,000 times with electrical crap. My 12v acc. plugin thing, may not work though, so Ill have to find another power wire that turns on with the car.

Do these help, they show the ECU, and how to do a VAFCII on our cars. I have a LX, but EX should be the same minus the Vtec solenoid and wires. and TDC wire possibly, not sure in nonvtec has that?

edit- the gauges I am getting for now and some el cheapos, but should work decently enough for a month. I am getting a A/F, Boost, and oil pressure gauge. So that should be a decent reading for now.

Not what I meant... I mean the wiring up by the steering column where you put the key in!! The wiring off the cylinder is what'll get tapped for keeping the car running when the key is removed...

I am on tatum between greenway/Bell. If you are on Bell, Go south, and get directly in your left lane. It is the second street (not the one right after Home Depot, but the next one) It is called Aire Libre, you go East on that. You than take your second right, which is 49th or 48th street, any one would work, the first second, 3rd, or 4th street. You take it down, and it will turn into Kings at the end. I am directly in front of you, you will see some Hondas, or at least mine. Call when your coming over, and I can straighten the directions up as well.
602 446 1864 I am 4851 E Kings Ave. I will do a mapquest for ya sometime soon
edit:

if any questions, let me know, or call me up.

Ya know from that map I'm only about 5 miles from you. My ex had an LX. I could notice the difference. Not sure what I'll sell it for. I have to get this other head up and running first.

hehe. I think an LX with an EX head is a little quicker than the EX as well, not sure though, but that would be sweet. Either way not like an EX will beat me

hell yeah. I dunno, I may be out late saturday (hopefully not in jail, hehe) But should wake up by 9 regardless of when I go to bed. It sucks sometimes having kids, cuz the nights I dont have em, I still wake up early as F, when I want to sleep in.
