i need to be overhauled! 1958 ranchero pics
here is my granpas old 58 ranchero. my uncle has just left it sitting at my moms house for years. i want it, but hes not giving it up so im going to offer him some money. i dont think my uncle is going to do anything with it. he knows nothing about cars, has 3 DUIs and needs to give it to me!!!!!!
i dont think it has been started in 4 years, i doubt anything was drained or added to the gas to store it(this is going to cause me a lot of work), it has a flat tire and some of the weather stripping is shot. all the chrome is there but some trim on the rear will need to be replaced along with one of the taillight bullets........what do you guys think its worth? also does anybody know where i can get the info to decode the VIN?
on with the pics

well grampa built it pretty much ground up in the early 80's....drove it on weekends only till the mid 90's. then it just sat there. he had a late 80's grand marquis (that will be mine this week also) that he drove all the time..not like he went alot of places.

damn Alex that thing looks like its in pretty damn good condition for how old it is. I think that would be worth fixing up for the right price, good luck getting it man.
