Scottsdale's two newest photo-enforcement cameras have nabbed more than 4,200 wayward drivers in their first month of operation, police said. Cameras on Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard between Scottsdale and Hayden roads caught 3,963 speeders during September. Cameras monitoring eastbound traffic on Shea Boulevard at 90th Street issued 168 citations for speed and 74 for running red lights. I live in Chandler, so I'm never up there except in old town to party on weekends, which is far from the lights~! So no, i never recieved a friendly post card in the mail from the Scottsdale Court House.
I wanted to speed past the ones in the middle of the street (on FLR) with the IS300 when it didn't have a plate.

whats crazy is the huge signs that tell you that there are cameras there right before you get there but people still dont slow down.

Joey did (RevHigh). Have you seen all the lights at Scottsdale and Bell (east of) They have 8 cameras set up, and signs posted, speed enforced photos, blah blah. I have never seen those type of cameras. I have only seen red light ones, until the other day, I was like, WTF?? 8 tall cameras waiting for speeders. Those will start popping up everywhere.
My girl ran a red light a month before she got a ticket, I got a picture holding a pipe, LOL, luckily my face was blocked out. I was trippin, since the car is in my moms name she was driving. We just threw the ticket away (cuz we never recieved it, hehehe).
I've heard that they are going to start putting those cameras like on FLW on the overpasses and it will catch people speeding on the freeway.
those cams are funny, people go 55 till there near em slow down to 35-45 and once there clear the take off again.

I haven't been snapped, I pay attention to where the cameras are. Plus, its nearly impossible to be speeding through shea and 90th, its almost always red when you come off the freeway or you get caught in traffic.
I saw someone get nabbed on Scottsdale and Hayden, about had a heart attack..so friggin bright.
I also saw a photoradar van parked under the cactus overpass one day on the 101.
crazy shiit

I hate scottsdale pigs, so I dont speed much around there. Scottsdale Rd make me want to go fast everytime though, so I just dont run red lights, and dont speed excessively (sp?).
Never speed on Tatum, south of shea, like shea-lincoln. There are always radars waiting for you, so if you speed, you are almost guaranteed to get a ticket. They have done that for like 15 years. I remember my mom saying she had to go slow when I was a little sh**.
Don't speed or run lights and you won't have to worry about getting a ticket. I just got my license back a couple days ago and have learned my lesson, I hope!
When I was down in Phx back in April visiting family and driving around trying to go the speed limit is about impossible everyone about runs ya off the road or lots of fingers getting put your way. Yeah I drove the way I do here which has to be the speed limit or maybe 5 over and you stick out too much since everyone goes the limit or slower.
people do drive freakin slow here. I hate that. Learn to drive, or get off the road. I havent been pulled over in like a year. The last time was a random stop on my way back from san diego. They were looking for drugs (but couldnt smell the cali bud we were smokin 2 seconds before) I was all pissed cuz i was going the speed limit and straight, but they pulled me over, saying i had no license plate light when I did. He wouldnt let me out of the car to check until he was gone and I had no ticket. punk biyatches. I know there is one officer from az on this site. I dont mean disrespect to all officers, just the punks. The one who arrested me, was actually very nice, and respectful. He didnt cuff me, and gave me subway in the holding cell.

My girls got one a month ago, took like 1- 1 half months to get to us. It is only like a 27 dollar ticket I believe, and you just mail it in, you wont get any points. (Im pretty sure). You can throw it in the garbage too, and just say you never got it, cuz the USPS sucks. It works, but its a risk.
