For those Kerry supporters out there. Why do you plan to vote for him? The main response i get is: "Because, I dont trust or like George Bush," The other "I dont like either but Kerry seems cool." I am not slandering, just wondering.
im voting for kerry because its time for a change IMO. there are more things i dont like about bush such as his stands on abortion, adding an ammendment for banning gay marrige, tax cuts at war time, the way the war is being faught and the lack of a plan, i hate his public speaking, i hate his vacations, and i hate that he says his best moment was september 11th....3000+ people dead on your watch, then not getting osama bin laden, then getting sadam who had nothing to do with it and saying the world is safer, even though now there are millions of iraqis that hate us now for invading them, iran is developing nukes (now its going to us or isreal that has to take care of that), and north korea isnt scared of us either......oh and the countries where people have to free'd are just having some money tossed at them (the sudan, ruwanda, ect, ect...but hey theres no oil there)
im not a hardcore kerry fan, but somthing needs to change, 4 more years of the same is going to leave us trillions more dollars in debt as country with people earning less money, with less people with heath insurance, an underfunded no child left behind bill, more soiders dead and us occupying iraq. basically i feel less safe, see less jobs and see less fredom. (patriot act, gay marrige ammendments, FCC, stem cell research) with bush in office

kerry is a tool! (yeah bush is an idiot) but kerry wouldnt make a better president than bush. i dont know if you saw the debate, but come on, kerry did a horrible job on trying to say one thing and sticking to it, he flip-floped around to much.
ex 1
kerry said “We Are 90 Percent Of The Casualties And 90 Percent Of The Cost: $200 Billion – $200 Billion ---That Could Have Been Used For Health Care, For Schools, For Construction, For Prescription Drugs For Seniors---, And It’s In Iraq.”
kerry also said--- Kerry Pledged To Fund Reconstruction With “Whatever Number” Of Dollars It Took. NBC’S TIM RUSSERT: “Do you believe that we should reduce funding that we are now providing for the operation in Iraq?” SEN. JOHN KERRY: “No. I think we should increase it.” RUSSERT: “Increase funding?” KERRY: “Yes.” RUSSERT: “By how much?” KERRY: “By whatever number of billions of dollars it takes to win. It is critical that the United States of America be successful in Iraq, Tim.”
ex2 (my favorite)
kerry said--- “You Don’t Send Troops To War Without The Body Armor That They Need.”
kerry voted against the senate passage of Iraq/Afghanistan Reconstruction Package that included “Money For Body Armor For Soldiers.” (S. 1689, CQ Vote #400: Passed 87-12: R 50-0; D 37-11; I 0-1, 10/17/03, Kerry Voted Nay; “Highlights Of Iraq, Afghanistan Measures,” The Associated Press, 10/17/03)
but then he said----"I Actually Did Vote For The $87 Billion Before I Voted Against It"
ex3
kerry--- Said Americans In Iraq Not Dying For “Mistake.” PBS’ JIM LEHRER: “Are Americans now dying in Iraq for a mistake?” KERRY: “No, and they don’t have to, providing we have the leadership that we put – that I’m offering.” (Sen. John Kerry, First Presidential Debate, Miami, FL, 9/30/04)
->Earlier In Debate, Kerry Called Iraq War “Mistake.” “We can’t leave a failed Iraq. But that doesn’t mean it wasn’t a mistake of judgment to go there and take the focus off of Osama bin Laden. It was.” (Sen. John Kerry, First Presidential Debate, Miami, FL, 9/30/04)
->“But The President Made A Mistake In Invading Iraq.” (Sen. John Kerry, First Presidential Debate, Miami, FL, 9/30/04)
with that last quote, why would vote for a president that makes our troops overseas lose motivation. remember many of them are over there because they have to, not because they want to, but they are still proud to be marines, rangers, or whatever they are... how do you expect them to feel when their commander in chief calls the war a mistake (but then says is necessary, but then decides to tell the public its a mistake)
why would anyone vote for someone who can't make up their damn mind!!! its insane... no matter how dumb of a person you might be, or how stupid they look in public, or weather they think they can make up words (which bush does every now and then) WE NEED TO VOTE ON SOMEONE (i'm admitting we dont have the best choices) who will not back off when the going gets tough.
kerry is constantly trying to become "Mr. Popular", being president isnt about being popular... its about trying to make the right decisions at the right time, and sometimes those decisions aren't the popular ones.
kerry wants to please the world... WE NEED SOMEONE who can protect america and our INTERESTS (and yes if the war in iraq was for oil, well so be it.. we all drive cars, and have some type of plastic in our house, and probably 100 other things that are made with some by-producted of oil... guess what oil makes the world go round)... kerry will make this country weaker by giving in to others... he will put american lives in danger... he will make iraq the next 'nam'
people that want to vote for kerry **** me off (for the most part) because many are just going against bush to get him out of office and not really listening to what kerry has planned for us... oh yeah.. what is kerrys plan, he keeps saying he has a plan but what is it, he never goes into detail... or maybe he has changed his mind so many times that he doesn't remember what his all mighty plan is...

so the guy changed his mind after he got accurate information. he can change on the fly. bush just says more of the same
guess what, when the pres said there was WMD, i said go for it, well there wasnt, so then it was to help the iraqis, well now they hate us, so now what are we there for?? he has no exit strategy!! its just more of the same....then it was the world is a safer place but it isnt, now everybody is dying because the ***** way we are fighting the war. if we are gonna do it steam roll the bastards and make it a total victory. i dont like the way war is being faught and thats what kerry is trying to say...we are there and i support the troops but the way its being fought is complety wrong. something needs to change and bush is just to stuborn to change the way he does anything cause he doesnt want to be a "flip flopper". F him for killing those soldiers, F him for sending jobs overseas and supporting it, F him for cuttin police spending, F him for supporting more strength in the patriot act, F him for allowing a monopoly of radio and concert media, F him for loving big oil and making me pay $2 a gallon for gas, F him for sending tech jobs over seas and loving it,
and as far as that last quote...the pres did make a mistake in invading iraq.....are we safer, no, did we find WMD, no, are we better off? no, is our military better off? No. is our country better off?? NO
like i said, the jobless rate is down but they are making an average of $7000 less per year with no insurance
so guess what?? REAL jobs are being lost and people are waiters, bartenders and strippers and those are the numbers bush is quoting
IRAQ COULDNT HURT US AND THEY WERE NOT A THREAT!!! NOW THE SURVING CITEZENS TAHT HAD NO PROBLEM WITH US HATE US FOR KILLING THEIR KIDS, WIVES, MOTHER AND SONS AND DADS....WE HAVE TWO COUNTRIES WITH NUKES NOW AND AN A NEW COUNTRY THAT HATES US IN THE MIDDLE EAST!! HOW ARE WE BETTER WITH BUSH??

jobs are jobs, no matter what... i'm sure those ppl dont like their jobs much but i'm such they are better off, welfare checks suck (i cash them all the time for pll, $180 a week for a family aint ****)
and on iraq, yeah we didn't find WMD so what, we can't undo what we already did... we cant just leave, its our mess to fix... and the world is safer... if it wasn't for all the dumbass terrorists making life a living hell, oil prices would be lower throughout the war, they are the ones making this transition so difficult, terrorism never works, in the long run they always lose. why don't people read the polls, most iraqis are happy saddam is out, many of them think iraq is a better place, yeah so they want us out but they still thank us for giving them a change, the media seems to 'forget' to report news like this... we only get the bad news.
and i strongly agree the war is being fought the wrong way, bush and the administration underestimated the resistance, but war is war, UNPREDICTABLE, i just wish washington would let the military handle the war and stop trying to make it a political battle ground...
we live in a global economy... it was only time before those jobs went over seas, what is kerry going to do, keep those jobs here, HOW? by giving big companys tax breaks, oh **** where does that money come from, guess what we pay for that, oh yeah not to mention, if we keep those jobs here, guess what else happens we pay more for our daily products... there is a reason why some companys move jobs overseas, because we wont buy a 2dllr american made razor if we can buy a 1dllr china made razor, we bitch and bitch about how prices are to high.. but then we also bitch how jobs are going over seas... we need to make up our f---ing minds, keep the jobs here and pay more, or send them over seas and pay less. its CAPITALISM... and its here to stay, as for gas prices, its not so much bushes fault, its our fault for passing stupid *** laws that make oil/gas companys lives living hells, did you know that no new oil refinerys have been built in america in the last 10 yrs yet we use more gas today than we did 10 yrs ago. its all about the demand, its gone up and yet we dont have the means to meet it... once again the economics of life make prices go up. even if we tap our reserves, we dont have the means to produce more gas, we need to lift some of these enviormental laws...
those 2 countrys with nukes had been developing nukes way before bush was in office... (what about the country that is dismantling its nuclear abilities? no one ever mentions them, bush (and some things clinton did) had alot to do with libya)
whats kerrys plan with iran and n. korea?
more sanctions? come on iran already has sanctions against them...
and n.korea, kerry wants bilateral talks, WHY!?!?! they dont work, we dont have the muscle to scare n korea... we need china in those talks... but no kerry wants them out.. before china was involved in those talked n korea kept pushing buttons, now with them (and the 4 other nations, not including us) n korea is not in the news as much... china basically told them to calm the f down...
and the middle east hates us for one MAIN REASON- our support for Isreal, if iraq is a success (which will take many yrs) it will be a good country to have as an ally...

the terrorists attacked the world trade center, not the oil fields. we attacked iraq freaking out the entire middle east and the people that determine the price of a barrel of oil. terrorists didnt take them hostage and say "raise the price or ill cut your head off" the US blew up one of the largest oil pipelines in iraq a few weeks back and thats what pushed the prices over $50 a barrel. i dont see how terrorists, that are flooding into iraq (because we didnt shut down the borders) are effecting gas prices....Iraqi polls?? most of the people they poll are in outside areas! how do you think those polls would go over in Bagdad or Faruja?? oh they probly would get kidnapped and beheaded if they tried to poll there....im sure they love us there.
as far as where money would come from, if the goverment provided a service to keep jobs here, to keep those salraies here to keep speinding money in the usa to keep paying taxes to keep this country strong, i would gladly give back my Bush given tax cut.
im all for capitalism, and i understand supply and demand as far as the pricing of gas goes, thats why i chose to drive a honda civic and not an Excursion. i hate seing those types of vehicles driven by soccer moms. there should be penalties at the time of purchase for buying those cars, the manufactureres should be punished for building cars that get 10 miles per gallon. more reserach needs to be done on hydrogen, more on hybrid cars and more information to the public about deisel also.
i realize you cant stop jobs from going overseas, but you can try to keep some of them here. the reason that we wont buy the $2 razor is because we cant afford to. all the old high paying tech jobs are gone. we have to buy that $1 razor so we can afford the ceral in the bag.
im happy about lybia. bush did a good job. I also agree that China does need to be involved also. as far as sanctions on iran....we are the only country doing it. Bush has made us a bastard to the world...if he keeps it up for the next 4 years we are screwed. what happens when blair is gone and putan and gone...we have nobody because bush wouldnt listen to them, wouldnt work with them, and went right ahead into war. we dont really have a leg to stand on internationaly right now because of the way the war was handled.
i dont love everything about kerry, i dont like his record on gun control and how he votes against all types of things for sportsmen, i dont like his death penalty stance and a few other things, but of the two people that have a chance to win, i agree more with john kerry.

John Kerry is a b****. He reminds me of an 80 year old mormon. Maybe really nice OLD MAN, buut we will go to crap if he wins. He sound like he has brain damage every time he talks. He is slow, retarded, and too nice to be a president. We NEED Bush to finish what was started, or get us most of the way there. So what if Saddam didnt help with 9/11. He is still off the streets, and the world is safer without him. Bush's life will be threatened for the rest of his life. So many terrorists are mad at him, and will be for a long long time. He put his life on the line for our country, so he definately has my vote. I just registered. I wasnt going to vote, but I think I really should this time, cuz Kerry is a bitch.
