Glad this topic came up. What sorta firearm would you guys recommend getting. I've been wanting to get something (because in this country its your RIGHT), but since I don't know squat about guns, I don't know what to get. I'm thinking a rifle of some kind. Maybe a pistol. Any suggestions under $500?

I hope so, that would be so f'ed up to go kill an animal for nothing. I wont kill them, but Ill damn sure eat them. I just let other people kill em for me. I feel bad for catching fish, especially if you throw em back, and they die on you.
