Headlight painting!
Ok, I need to know what type of paint and what color to use to paint the housing of the lights black. The reason why I am doing this is becasue I want the whole JDM look and don't want them cleared anymore so if anyone knows any info then let me know, thanks!

Chris and i used flat black spray paint for plastics (Home-Depot) because the high-heat turns out gunmetalish and we wanted a black look...plus the high-heat paint isnt that necessary

alright, thanks guys, I was thinking about using a flat black anyways because I thought the other kind would look to gleamy and I wanted it to look flat and not the shiny clear coat look to it!

ya I thought about putting them in to make it look more JDM like but I asked my friends and they liked the black housing w/out the amber piece so I decided not to put it in!

Come on Mike, just do it for the fun and adrenaline of racing your car! Don't you like being at a stop light and having another import/domestic next to you knowing that you will win or lose and then launching and shifting as you go faster and faster until somebody pulls! God I love street racing man, its such a good feeling, even if you lose, its still fun!

Well I fixed the headlight tonight thank god I'm done because my hands are hurting. I think they look a lot better black than being cleared or stock IMO. Payce!

well its seems that my right headlight doesnt like me so i am going to get rid of it or bust the POS. The paint was fine after I re-did it but now after a couple days it started to crack on the left side and a little bit between the cracks. I think I am just going to buy the right side off ebay or something and hope it doesn't act retarded like the one I tried to paint twice!
