Okay, my alternator is dead. So I pulled it out of the car (Quite a pain actually) and called around since the dealership was gonna charge me $600 to fix this problem. Well, turns out that no one carries it. I need to get it from the dealership, which means I have to wait til Monday and they are probably gonna charge me an arm and a leg. So, Does anyone have any ideas? Like a hookup on factory parts or anything??? Let me know pleezzzeeee. Thanks !

Autozone, checker, pep boys, bap.... they cant even test it to make sure that it is the alternator thats messed up.

Just an FYI on the alternator situation. $330. Thats what honda is going to charge me for the part alone. And they can't test my old alternator to make sure that is definately what is wrong (I'm doing the work myself). So I'm basically doing this on an educated guess. This really hurts my opinion of this company...

Yup, I almost had to do the same thing and did find nobody, but Honda carried them even though our cars have been around for awhile. Luckily, it wasn't my alternator, but it would be nice if someone at least carried a bigger alternator for our cars, oh well maybe when the 8thgens come out.

got you hook up.
call this number and ask for either dave or martin.
tell them you heard that they have a civic lx thats being parted out. i dont see why anyone will have gotten the alternator already. if they ask who referred you, say CJ at bell honda(thats not me) referred you.

i went in to buy struts for my car after i put it back to stock, and thats when he told me about the spare car.

and i STILL havent went and bought those struts. i really need to get them.
