Watch my CRACK grow

I hate this heat! I had gotten a teeny tiny little nick on my windshield that was barely visible. I went to Cali for the weekend and left the car here (in a garage) and when I got into my car a few hours ago, there's now a nice 7 inch crack. I wonder how much more it will grow this week when I'm at work and its out in the sun for 8 hours a day. Sometimes I tilt my sunroof open to help ventilate things, but it just doesn't help enough... Oh, and BEST OF ALL, my insurance doesn't cover glass. But don't tell my ex-girlfriend that, surely she will put a baseball bat to my windshield if she knew.

But for good news, I just got a promotion/raise at work...so I can pay for it

Congratulations on the promotion bro.

A few years ago, I was on my way to the airport to go on vacation and a rock was kicked up and hit my windshield. When I came back it was pretty close to all the way across the windshield.

I know, people used to tell me all the time how these little rock chips expand, but I never realized it so much until it was my windshield. But I guess I've had good luck, a woman at work got her 7th gen around the same time as me and has less miles on hers, and she is on her third windshield.

Oh, and THANKS! Yeah, I am no longer your basic food clerk, but now a cashier. Which is actually a huge deal. You'd never believe how much some of those grocery cashiers actually make. But don't worry, I'm still in school

Yes, windshield chips and cracks suck. Not all chips will turn into cracks though, they will if the glass film (between inner and outer windshield glass) is compromised. Just ask the auto glass company for this checker (basically a sticker), so you can check for yourself as sometimes they just say that to take your money.

Yeah I had a great time. I went back to my old stompin' grounds (for those familiar with LA, the Woodland Hills/Calabasas area) and then went down to Newport Beach with a few of my friends. Thinking of transferring to a school out there after my first 2 yrs at a community college...too bad rent is too damn much

I gotcha, Eric, that is what I thought! If you come to our meet, you can see Jason's vic for he will be there and you can bring me some friggin' chairs please?! Eric, I'm scared of your entertainment, so, just entertain yourself before you come, okay? I know your two most entertaining things and neither one goes with our meet unfortunately, you know?

Actually it seems to have finally stabilized after making it half way across my windshield. But I've also been leaving my sunroof tilted up all the time to (hopefully) help prevent any future growth
