Talking Just a heads up....

I know this happened like 2 months ago, but I finally sold my turbo kit to a guy on this board that lives in Colorado... this guy was getting a hell of a deal and he was a good guy so i was happy i had found a good buyer for the kit, well after all the money was transferred to me i shipped the whole package out via Fedex on a monday morning.... It left tampa that morning at 7 am and arrived in orlando at 10 am.... from that point on nobody knows where the box traveled to.... somebody knew what was in the box and stole all the shi+ out of it and i am stilll handling my claim with fedex...

I'm just telling my story to get the news out to others, I will never use fedex to personally ship out any products that i sell in the future and don't wish to deal with them when i'm on the buying end either.

Also if any of you happen to see any of my parts turn up in a big lumpsome, like a powdercoated black SFP manifold would be the easiest to spot... or a custom 5 bolt DP let me know ASAP... because i WILL pay that person a visit, along with the proper authorities to set things right...

Thanks for reading guys!

Hmm.. sucks.. but good looking out..

I've use FedEx for mass shipping in my export company for yearssss.. (4 to be exact) and I have never had a problem.. Maybe 6 or 7 late packages.. but none ever tampered with or "disappearing"..

I think your case is just an isolated incident.

Oh yea, no doubt, but i think a lot of it had to do with the fact that it was a fairly decent sized box, and the insured value on it was way up there.... i was supposed to get my check from fedex like 2 weeks ago, and yet still isn't here again, i'm just very unimpressed with thier performance and lact of consumer relations skills... they don't care about the customer they didn't even want to talk to me when on the phone... never again...

just my personal opinion now... i use ta think they were the best... they were always 3 times cheaper than UPS or DHL but now i guess i know why

If anything, tie a package to a trained falcon or bald eagle, and have them deliver it to the specified shipping point. Provided that the receiver of the package accomodates the falcon/eagle and gives adequate rest and rations, this process should prove to be a cost-effective alternative to Fed-Ex and UPS.

yea, they had the nerve today to call my dad who's been dealing with them now recently because i've had exams earlier this month... the bitch sends him and email today and says we were denied for our claim because we have no proof of what was in the package to provide it's worth.... IF THEY DID THEIR FU(<ING JOB AND SHIPPED IT WITHOUT BEING STOLEN OR LOST, WE WOULDN'T BE MAKING A DAMN CLAIM IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!

now we're getting our attorney involved, who knows i'll get my damn money back, or i might just get rich off a court case ****ing FEDEX over?

F*CK THE FEDEX!!! Are there any lawyers on this board that i can talk with to get some advice, as to whether i have a damn good case, and how much can be won, and if i have a leg to stand on in court??? thanks guys, just venting my frustrations

Yea, i might **** people off a lot of times, with some of the remarks i make online and whatnot, but I still care about the next guy and try to make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible, i don't think it's that big of a deal to just give ur buyer his money back, i mean it is HIS money and he didn't do anything wrong, and never recieved his purchase, so why not right?

anywho... anybody know of any attorney's on this board that can help me out?
