I have this amp, and it came under rated like all other MTX amps. I actually had 320 Watts @ 4ohms instead of 280Watts... Obviously this varies from amp to amp, but expect it to be under rated. MTX wont sell an amp if it doesnt meet or beat factory specs. Im now using the amp to power my internal speakers and it sounds great. So this amp is good for Internals or subs. Your Choice

Yes they will! I dont know if u remember but back at the tampa meet i was usin this amp to power my subs. Works rather well but gets really hot.

thanx a lot, are there any controls on it? like crossover settings or bass boost?

Its got very simple crossover settings, and no bass boost...

Crossover Specs:
Defeatable 18dB/Octave HP/LP at 85hz

I recomend using crossover settings in your head unit, if it is so equiped, and turning off the amps built in crossover.
