Rep Power: 364 You know... I've been looking at thoes vidoes and the Audi is spinning its wheels while the lights are dropping so he can have a quick launch. You can even see him move forward an inch or so before the take off. Is that even legal?

15.XX, either it was a V6, or that guy couldn't drive worth a fud. Those cars, with a damn good driver, can run 13.8X stock. They average mid 14s with decent drivers.
Anywho, I was just currious.

Gayness, I can hear you short shifting first and it sounded like you shifted a little early out of 2d, too. That 3d gear pull was extremely long. If you can get that partial throttle down without breaking loose, you'll have better times and traps. The surprises you have planned will help drastically.

Its all good, alot of people don't realize how difficult it is to drive, let alone launch a fwd car that is making alot of power. Its very difficult, takes alot of practice and skill.

The biggest thing to remember is to pedal it out in first and second and build up mph before shifting. Nothing worse in a Honda than short shifting IMO. There is a fine line and the only way to find it is practice. There's a lot more left in your setup but only practice will bring out its true potential. Congrats on 13s its not as easy as most think.

Well that's what he's saying. You can't give full throttle at all in first gear. You have to give about 1/2 throttle until redline, then shift.

Well you don't HAVE to short shift. If you can just find that throttle point where you're on the verge of losing traction but not quite. I could hear in the vids where it was just killing you in 3d gear from short shifting out of 2d.
