well here is how it went down. Was driving to a buddys house on a 4 lane road kind of in town, but not really much traffic around at the time, well i pull up to the light on the right hand side and look over at this guy who is about early 30s just to look because i always look at people when im stopped, but anyways the light turns green and i take it to about 5500 rpms in 1st and i notice him starting to catch me so i red line it in second and start to pull on him slowly and the same in 3rd and 4th, by the time i shifted to 5th i was about a car length and a half in front of him and slow down for the next stop light. Well he pulls up next to me and rolls down his window and asks me what i got in that thing and being the smartass i am i told him i just waxed it today and laugh, i mean i really did wax it that day!

it was a joke, people say when you wax your car it runs faster..i was just messing with the guy, i dont know what those things have in them, but i toke him by about a car length and a half. it was good stuff.

Those Maquis and Crown Vics aren't much these days. I think they just have a 302 CID V-8. Back in the day they had a big ole 429 and they would run then.

The new ones weigh over 3900 lbs with 224 HP. They're also geard high to try and get better gas mileage.
