vs 99eclipse

vs 99eclipse
at night my friend and I went out for him to practice his launches.
He has a 5 speed 99 eclipse the N/A one
Me in my 01 LX auto, cant be much help besides critiquing on what he's doing.
we line up at a stop and his passenger counts from 3.
I get the head jump (i think im about an inch out further)
we stay dead even in 1st
then we hit second, and he slowly sticks out his front
by the end of second hes about a bumper out
I cut off then, knowing my AT 3rd gear is a joke
lol the whole race was like 5 seconds
think i could have kept up better if I had 5 spd?

Rep Power: 0 ya you would have ran better with a 5 speed. either way, it isnt bad. i think the n/a eclipses have like 140 hp to the crank, could be wrong but i think that is what edmunds.com has them rated at.
