So I have a 2002 civic ex with:
Intake, exhaust, lowered, with 17" rims and falken rubbers
My friend has a prelude (92 or 94?):
Lowered with 15" chrome rims, I am not sure what trim prelude it is, but its dohc, but NO vtec
is he gonna pull on me like no other? He has like 160,000 miles on it, and I know that preludes are a lot heavier than my vic. I know they have more horses, but thats not the only factor when racing someone. Just curious what everyones opinions are?

depends on the driver.
to a point. If you race for any ammount of time he might pass you up (ie more then a 1/4 mile).
Ive raced my friends 96 lude Si (160BHP non VTEC prelude). When all I had was an AEM CAI and 17" rims (he has I/H/E ad rememebr I drive a 2000 civic Si) It would be even through 2nd when i would pull hard on his *** from there on after. Same goes for most other "lesser" cars.

You'll take him. Those old preludes are crap. The new one, well 96 up are very very good. BUt the old ones...nooo. Race him, and even if you don't take him, it'll be a close race.

I can deal with an older, heavier prelude.
