What is the best race you got into?

Mine was a mustang (6 cyl).I was just driving on the highway minding my own business and i pasted a mustang. Two seconds later he came flying up next to me, it was some rich ***** and his girl friend. I looked over at them and they were both laughing at me, so i down shifted and he knew it was on. I was surprised i actually beat him. After that i slowed down, but he turned down a side street. I guess there is some ***** to are cars.

I dont bother racing in a straight line anymore..it's not my cars specialty. When someone wants to race I ask if there will be any corners involved. I guess I just dont see any skill in pushing the right pedal down as far as it will go, and seeing who gets to the next stoplight first. Now if you pass me going around a corner...you get my respect.

if your going 60 an dowshift into 3rd you could quite easily take an auto 6-cyl mustang I think. Those are actually pretty slow.

Lol..... I smoke v6 mustangs that are stock- lightly moddified in drag and freeway, but only 1 race with a v6 mustang with my friend driving, crazy mf, the only reason I lost.. he just doesn't care about anything, its not his car...

anyhow... yes... I have heavy rims a kit and only intake, exhuast, and ur pulleys, I take stick v6's with dual flowmasters and intake, i/e.

I could take them by a nose with just i/e, with pulleys and only 1 of 2 resonators I take them drag by 2 lengths+ if they have dual flowmasters and maybe an intake..

It's surely possible, I just laugh at them now, just to see if they are serious about a run, some turn into pussies when you laugh at them..

of course I have laughed at a trans am i knew to be fairly modded just so I would make him feel like I had more and wouldn't have to race him... lol.. it worked... he back off on the way to the houston meet..

v-6 mustang AT 0-6 8.6 sec and 1/4 mile in 16.7. the kenny brown package only takes it down to a 16.4. they arent fast. if you cant beat one in a 5 speed civic...learn to drive. there is plenty of skill involved in a stright line especially in a 5 speed. cornering does take more skill, but your a dipshit to pull that on the street.

yeah, beating a mustang 6 cyl, is a joke and highway speeds and on the track, still havent raced any v6 stangs on the track, maybe cause there slow as dog ****. oh well
