old Saab 900's

Those things are a BEAST!!!

was going up a 35% grade incline, full WOT at 120KM/hr on 3rd @ 6000 rpms
and this old boxy saab maybe late 80's early 90's coming straight up
behind me just takes me by 5 car lengths in a matter of like 1-2 seconds.

How much power do those older saabs have? Or maybe he was modded like
a ****!

i know it was a 4 door sedan, and it's probably the 1990 Saab 9000 4dr turbo w/ 165hp/195 torque..

no wonder.. the torq killed me on the hill.

my friend has a Saab 900 turbo, i think they run about 185-205 stock, i know its a big gap but i can remember exactly, and they did come in a 4 door hatch too. he freakin rips me apart with that thing. the N/A's are dogs, but the turbos are awesome, they use a low pressure Mitsu turbo, but he swapped his out for a T3/T4 hybrid, hes got wheel hop through 4th sometimes. theyre one hellufa good sleeper!

My father has a 900 turbo taledaga. It's got the 17" BBS wheels and factory ground effects. Brutally fast and quiet. All speed and handling but NO drama...
