The beast is awake
Alright I pulled the car out today and threw full insurance coverage on it. I'll still probably go back and forth between the civic and S2k since we all know it can be 60 one day, then blizzard the next.... in May. In wisconsin anyways.
I'm toolin around today, top down, because it's awesome outside. The high schoolers get out of school, and the rice is all over the town. I happen upon an unsuspecting pack of tiburons, apparently having an after school tiburon party, with milk, cookies, and all. There is 2 older tibs, with one new one. I part through them on the 2 lane road, thinking nothing of it, just showing off as usual. Of course I know there is a good chance one will want to race, but that's cool too.
I get stopped at a light and one of the older tibs ends up next to me. There is a HOT *** chick in the passenger seat, and some fruit loopy lookin guy drivin. The girl rolls down the window:
Hottie: Hey aren't you Matt?
Me: Yeah, how do you know me?
Hottie: Oh you were helpin with the middle school play my sister was in.
Me: Oh ok, that's cool.
Hottie: This car is AWESOME. I love it! S2000's rock.
Me: <blushing> Heh, thanks.
Hottie: My friend (haha, not boyfriend... dude just got own3d!) thinks that his car is faster.
Stupidfriend: Shut up! (half under his breath so I don't hear.
Me: Well, I suppose you know better.
Hottie: Yeah but he don't listen.
Haha... now dude's pissed. I give her a nod, and she sits back down. (she was leaning out the window, low cut shirt wide open for all her glory to be seen)
Light turns and I play with him. I think there was also a point where he knew I was playing with him. He kinda had this look on his face that's hard to describe. If you imagine an Iraqi soldier who sees the US marines pull away from the front, thinking he has victory, then only to suddenly realize they were leaving to make way for the F14 you are now staring down the nose of, as the bombs laser site is pinned to your nuts. Yeah... that's the look.
He still goes hard, and I stay just next to him but slightly behind, til I hit 6000rpm in 1st. I then floor it, obliterate him, his ego, and any chance of ever getting laid by the hottie. hehe. Life is good.

If you run a stock TT vs a stock S2k the S2k will have the advantage.
I've yet to lose to any stock 300 TT I've raced. From a roll, we pull. it's very much like racing a stick shift mustang GT. close race, but the S2k has the advantage.

Regardless of how they get there.... N/A I4 or V6 TT, they both run very similar times, but the S2k has the top end advantage as they barrel down the track.
Audi TT isnt Twin-Turbo...
