the other post reminded me of an encounter i had last weekend. i was driving my g/f's jeep cherokee sport. 2 lane road that was merging after a stoplight. so at teh stoplight i pull up next to a buick park avenue to meet the faces of this REALLY old couple. I mean, this was at night and all, but they were OLD. like 65 - 70. so he starts inchin up. and i didn't think much of it...i mean...cmon its an old dude and his lady. i have a bad habit of inchin as the light is in the process of changing. so it turns green, and the dude PEEEELs like crazy. and i was like wtf?!? so looked over to my g/f with a look of unbelief,. then floored it. the jeep lurched and i was runnin even with his GM 3800 series engine. he wasn't gonna let me MERGE! we were at 60 now, in a 35 zone, and i kept it glued to the floor. at 70, he lets up and i JUST make it past him w/o having to go off road. sheesh, crazy old suckas out there.

crazy old sukas? sounds like he had the right of way and you were the crazy one... just bustin your chops, i woulda done the same... =) i hope when i'm 70, i'm drivin an NSX and blowin away little turds in their civics =)
