So I am drinving up the garden state parkway, doing about 75 in the middle lane just minding my own business when I look in my rear view and see these lights tearing up the left lane.....all of a sudden the lights jump over 2 lanes and get right on my azz, i knew it wasnt a cop so i was like WTF?? I then realize its a new mustang who wants to play......For some reason I wasnt really in the mood to race that night, let alone get OWN3D by a mustang.....so I just change lanes twice in my usual fashion and this guy is swerving in and out just to stay behind me....i was set on not going with him so after about 5 minutes he got pissed and zoomed over to the left lane and floored it.....he must have got up to almost 100 and then my radar detector goes from level 1 to level 5 in a matter of 2 seconds.....all I see in the left lane are the mustangs brake lights go on and then a NJ state trooper with no lights on pull out onto the road right after him....he decided to swerve over into the middle lane to try to look all innocent, like thats gonna work when you zoom about 10 ft in front of a trooper at about 100 [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/IMG]....as I pass him when he is get pulled over he gives me this look like I set him up or something, i was just like .....just wanted to share my story with everyone

Sucks for him. Do you think if you would have been racing him your radar would have warned you quick enough for you to slow down?

No way.....it was already dark out, the cop had no lights on and was in the middle of the highway where there were no street lights....he clocked the guy when he was maybe 3 or 4 seconds away from him. So even with the radar this time i would have been dead meat.

Same thing happened to me out on Jersey Turnpike headin towards Lincoln Tunnel exit.
Except with a Maxima, and that no troopers got him.
He only wanted to play around on the Turnpike.
Again, Turnpike's nasty fugly roads + Night + 100 = my last look at Vics.

HAHAHAHA! i hate mustangs, cant believe i wanted one but that was when i was 16. they'd be alright for racing but sucks for a daily driver, good 'ol civic..... 35mpg, i laugh at this gas crisis!!
