Well, I have been holding onto these stories for a couple days since I've been busy.

A couple days ago I went to pick up the S2000. I was in my civic and at a stop light. Looking in my side-view mirror, I saw a new tiburon pulling up next to me. The light was about to change, so I didn't really think anything of it. The light turned and I took off... not WOT but a decent pace. Immediately, I hear the auto tranny of the tiburon downshift and start to go. I floor it, but he's already got a bit of speed on me, so he gets about half a length on me right away. I saw it was a GT tiburon. I kept going, best I could, and to my surprise.... at about 50mph I started to pull. I crept every so slowly, and was able to pull ahead of the tiburon. Haha... loser. I shutdown at 80mph and slowed way down. The guy wouldn't pass me, cuz he diidn't wanna face the music. lol.

The next day when I had the S2000, I was leaving work and getting on the freeway. In front of me on the on-ramp was an older model accord. Maybe 1992. Rust on the side a little bit from what I saw... but something caught my eye. The unpained front bumper... it stuck out like a sore thumb because the accord was brown. He also had chrome wheels. And that's it. I get on the freeway, and pass him, since I tend to drive a little faster than most traffic. He gets on my butt, then gets next to me and proceeds to try and take off! I downshift and probably scare the hell outta the guy (my intake is LOUD at WOT and into VTEC) and leave him well behind me. He eventually catches up later, but is content to not try and race me again. [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]

Lastly, if you remember my beater cruising videos... there was a girl driving a red 5th or 6th gen civic with a big friggin combat spoiler and altezzas. It's an auto and she has an exhaust that sounds like the a bad coffee can. Anyways. I'm at a stoplight and this guy comes up next to me with his friend in an older car. He honks his horn, so I roll down my window. He asks "hey man, i like your car... what is it?" I tell him "honda S2000". He's like "awesome". At this point the light turns green, and a car is honking madly behind me. Damn, so I missed the green for a whole second. geez. So I go, and this car then goes next to me and attempts to "blow by me". I downshift and take off, leaving whatever the hell it was easily in the dust. At the next light I see it's that same stupid chick from that beater cruising night! Combat spoiler and all. Stupid ricer chick wannabe's.

have you ever lost a race? just wondering read of a lot of kills from u well atleast a few. tiburon GT is slow u should have murdered him. I raced a friends v6 6speed and my car wasn't running so hot and still beat him pretty good.

a.) my best friend drives a 2k1 civic i just come here to keep up with him and post on some tech stuff. We currently have his civic running a 50 shot and the basic bolt ons. We will probably be moving to a bigger shot when we get some fuel managment in the car. And hopefully this summer we will be doing a turbo kit on it. I hope to work with Grey with his setup we will be doing it ourselves in my garage. stay tuned for that. So I would like to think I am a contributing member. Or atleast plan too. BTW NX KIT = big fun in 2k1 civic.

B.) 89 mitsubishi mirage, its pretty quick for a 4 banger.

yup its running a perfect a/f right now. we getting a stiffer clutch. it took only 2-3 bottles to basicly put the stocker clutch on its death bed. Thats the biggest reason why the 50 shot is still on it. we will be putting that in within 3 weeks.

It's hard to contain laughter at this boast.. I could only wish I had a ferrari engine... maybe I should put ferrari symbols on, convert the back to a enzo, and take the honda and civic off..lol

Wait a minute. You do realize he said he was in his civic...not his s2000. I do not really know if his civic is modded or not, but i seriously SERIOUSLY (stressing the seriousness here) doubt that his civic (if stock or lightly modded) could ever beat a Tiburon GT. Let alone a 6-speed. Unless of course the driver was just that bad. Besides, for about 20k, the Tiburon is far from slow. If anything, if there was a race between a Tiburon GT and an RSX-S, with 2 drivers of equal skill, the Tiburon would not be far behind the RSX-S. But to be frank...$25-26k and 142 ft. lbs. of torque is ridiculously pitiful. Just better hope and pray that that good ol' VTEC kicks in before 6000 rpms . Didn't mean to rant like that, but that was just a stupid remark to have been made.

Yes I was in my civic, and yes I pulled on the AUTO tib GT. For whatever reason, I don't know.

for an explination myself, I went on over to newtiburon.com (yes i troll there too) and found some times as bad as mid 16's for the auto GT. One guy couldn't even get better than 15.9.

i went to wallmart in a small town called Statesboro down ont he way to savannah... well there was this guy rouding up them carts.. he see my car with the open door cuz i was just putting some backs in it and he comes up to me.
walmart guy: "nice car, what is it a Mercedes?"
/me says: "noooo! dumbass, its a freakin M3"
walmart guy: "huh! a M3? whats that."
/me says: "BMW M3?"
walmart guy: "bleh, i dont know about korean cars..."


okok, sorry i had to kinda make that up, after he asked if it was a mercedes i told him its a honda civic and he was just like "oh! NICE!"
