7th generation Civic VS 2000 Integra Type-R

Yep peeps the unthinkable just happen, all of you are thinking"thats nutz"but lastnite Team ILLUSIVE(Fresno)had a BBQ,and we were wondering how fast my car was after the mods were done to it,so we decided since the Type-R was the only one stock on the team,I would run him.......We had 2 runs since I wasnt ready on the 1st,the 2nd we both had good launches,we were side by side through 1st and 2nd gear,we hit 3rd,and he started to pull alittle,so I started double clutching, and he stopped.............OUTCOME 2000 Acura Integra Type-R #1079 won by a car and a half

The signature says it all...

Good job though.

EDIT: If you race a stock Supra, you'll probably win. A Type R would eat a stock Supra but if it's modified then... well... nothing else to say!

so what exactly have you done to your car?

i dont know about loosing by ONLY a car and a half... that seems a bit far-fetched. i've seen a GSR race a modded 2k1 and once the GSR hit 3rd gear the civic was FAR behind.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought double clutching is obsolete because we have syncro's on modern clutches?

I don't care how much our 2k1's are modded, that sounds like the Type R guy just blew it.

you my friend.... CAN SAY THAT AGAIN!!! That is the riciest and noobiest thing I've ever heard.
And the story mentioned.... man, double clutching??? one question for you....... WHY??? Don't need it man, you watch too much F&F too. The synchro for our cars don't require you to double clutch so why bullshiet!

What are you gonna come up with next when the F&F2 comes out? I can see it now,

i just looked and mike here has a 3.25" cat back with no cat... and no real engine mods.

even turbo cars, which need the low back pressure usually upgrade to 3" piping. I cant even immagine what sort of low end torque loss youd get on a NA civic with an intake.
