Hey im Matt. I just got and 07 SI and im taking it to Island Raceway in Great Meadows, NJ on Friday. This will be my first time running so does anybody ahve any suggestions as to how i should do it. Suggestions about launching.. wat rpm and how to do it, powershifting or not, how many rpm to shift at?

Also if any body wants to got here is hould be fun. 6 of my friends are goin with a Type-S, some SRT-4's and SI's. Its a nice strip

yea do this before u dont like i did. Air out ur tires psi to mid high 20's, spare tire taken out, maybe pull exhaust but on a 07 si i am sure people wouldnt do this but u r going to pay to run a time why not try to make it the best with wat u got? My friend wit same yr and car ran a 15.1, 15.2, 15.3 forgot order but he had full interior with only mod being aem sri and spare taken out. His 60 ft sucked though and i no why because he didnt have perfect tire pressure we did the tire pressure at the street runs and he deff should be quicker because he was killin cars he didnt at track.

oh yea lol he didnt powershift either and did run full stock exhaust
