Exclamation Scion xB!?

Ok so im driving up in some hilly areas with me and afriend of mine who also owns a 7thgen. So this scion xB pulls up on on along with a tC. The tC pulls slightly on me, which I fully expected being its got about 30 hp on me, but then the xB blasts past all of us . I have no idea what he did to that car, but I dont think the stock 1.5l engine in those things can usualy do that.

well it depends on a few things, cause my friend used to have one. are you an d17a1 or d17a2? are you auto or 5spd? I have an ex and me and him raced and I beat him but not by much. those cars are pretty light. but the box beating a tc? something's up there. sorry for your loss. :'(

Xb swapped to a 2.4l camry engine? ehhh... doubt it. especially with the boost. the swap alone would take a tc.

Yeah had to be a swap or boost. those cars dyno like 70whp-90whp. I raced a auto xb in my old auto ex and it kepted up with me till 80mph then i started walking him. I walked him all the way up to 110mph and i shut down.

The only logical option for a swap on an Xb is the celica motor. GT or GTS. If you try with the 2.4 TC engine... you'll end up rebuilding part of the chassis as well as many custom parts. The Xb we are talking about was probably boosted. IMO.
